Hey I just signed up for Twitter to help out. Trying to start the hashtag #RacistPoliticians directed at John Tory, Norm Kelly and the Mississauga Mayor. If people are slamming them for racism they might backtrack

Why would someone hack photos that were clearly intended for public release as part of artistic expression.

If they were selfies or someone having sex I could understand.

These were professionally taken and edited, of course they were for art and to publicly express (attention whore) herself.

It's really interesting, I was watching this documentary today about Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP, and the arguments from the U.S right are pretty much indistinguishable from today's Canadian left. "He's a violent misogynist...He advocates rape...", sound familiar? Considering the fact Eminem is/was a kinda trollish dude, and always based in satire/humour, they took everything out of context and turned it into how he's not a "good person" (Bosch has much to say about that particular phrase). North American puritanism on one hand, political opportunism on the other. Again, familiar?

What happened in the years since? Eminem became a global superstar. I know the circumstances are different, but in 10 years we might look back at this whole Canada craziness and laugh.

We're on the right side of history gentlemen, and the truth always wins in the end, no matter how long it takes. We're most certainly in the "then they fight you" stage of the famed Ghandi quote.
