Could the Toronto speech be streamed live and Recorded?
I'm sure that I'm not alone in wishing I could make it to Toronto next Saturday (I live in Ireland).
Is there any chance the Toronto speech could be streamed and recorded TO PAYING customers?
I would gladly pay the full ticket price to watch Roosh and be there in spirit.

I also wish to make a donation to Roosh's world tour efforts; where can I do this?

Thanks

PS I believe gotomeeting.com is one of the platforms that allows live streaming

Might be an idea.

Your exposure is at an all time high. Number 1 information trend in Canada. It's hard to think how you would get more of the uninitiated than a live youtube stream.

What a convincing victory it'd be. A petition to stop your conferences, which would have been two private affairs for arond 200 people, have you expose 1000's of new adherents to Neo Masculinity.

Talk about the law of unintended consequences.

Wouldn't a live stream run the risk of revealing the location to the enemy?

^^ If it's in some generic looking conference room with no skyline, probably not. When I was at the NYC conference it could have been live streamed and no one would have known where it was.

I think it's a good idea. The iron is very hot right now, and streaming the lecture would do two things:

1. Show it doesn't "advocate rape."
2. Attract a lot of eyes, many of which are probably sick of the feminist bullshit. I met three young Canadian guys last week that were around 19 and they're tired of the feminist bullshit in their country. I'm sure there are far, far more out there, even in Canada, than we realize.

It's definitely worth doing.

@seboist Yes that's a valid concern. It's up to Roosh and his tactical team to assess if a Live streaming could compromise security.
If a live stream is not possible then a recording is a must - it being the last speech on the tour would make it extra special I'm sure.
I will gladly pay for a live stream and/or a recording.

Exactly; If Roosh stood in front of a White Board for instance nobody could guess where it was taking place. Roosh; Libertas is right, think of the exposure you have garnered now because of these nutjobs. Clouds and Silver linings come to mind.

The lecture is by a masculine man, for masculine men. It's not going to be palatable by half the population. There is no need to invite a hostile audience.

The whole event had an underground Christian mass feel to it. circa 150 AD. It shouldn't be livestreamed. Videotaped, perhaps. Let the brothers attend in person.

I think it's a great idea - except I think it should be live streamed for free. What a way to close the tour victorious. Let the entire world hear you speak. Shut it off after the speech is over and let the Q&A and networking happen in private for the paying guests. My 2 cents.

Respectfully, I don't think this is something we should be debating. I would have PM'd Roosh and left it at that.

I don't think there is a democratic process for this. And I am ok with that.

Also, I just think the odds are no.

He is going to be so busy just making sure the lecture goes off without issue. Worrying about some technical matter would lose the focus.

Of course I'd like a live stream, but I didn't pay for a ticket to the Toronto event and don't feel entitled to be able to view the speech. Roosh has already contributed enormous amounts of valuable information for free over the years and his paid speaking tour doesn't necessarily have to be free to view as well.

I think he should sell videos of the tour afterwards, and I would pay for that.

Live is live and only people who pay and attend should be able to see it live. It would also require revealing the time it's starting to a lot of people, which would be valuable information. The place may not be known, but the time is a valuable piece of information which in my opinion is too risky to share.

Agreed with Samsamsam. This is something for Roosh to decide, pm him with your thoughts. He specifically said they are being recorded in order to make a video for later release/sale. I for one am looking forward to the video, and looking forward to paying for the pleasure should he so choose.

My impression of the tour is that it's partially motivated by a belief that men should be having these conversations with each other in person.

For that reason, I don't think it should be live streamed. I also regret not being able to attend but I support the idea, we need to spread this conversation in person. I believe this could be a turning point where you see more groups willing to stick their neck out a little bit.

RE: Could the Toronto speech be streamed live and Recorded?
A few things.

One thing to consider is that if you did record it, it would be better to do so in a way that shows there is an actual audience as these feminist skanks are still claiming it didn't happen in Montreal.

I would suggest something kind of cheap, and amusing. You know those paper masks with a small rubber band to hold them on. Y'know, the really cheap ones that you can get at the dollar store for like a buck or something.

I would bet that it wouldn't be that expensive to get a bunch of those made up in Roosh's avatar image and give them out to the attendees. Then he could simply, at the end of the lecture maybe, tell the audience to put them on and pan the camera across an audience full of roosh avatar faces.

Lol.

As far as pay vs. free. If it was only part of the lecture, say an edited part, then I would think the publicity of the video would more than offset any costs of setting up the live streaming. In fact, Roosh could probably make a pretty penny just from new recruits finding out about it on the news and checking out his site.

Either way, I wouldn't mind paying for it.

Another thing, it wouldn't have to be live streamed. Simply record it and do a bit of editing, which should be minimal if you have a decent camera and camera man, and then upload it and set it to go live a few hours later once Roosh and the guys have left to go about town and game some chicks.

In fact, that would probably be a really helpful distraction towards the feminists. They wouldn't know, if done right, when it started and when it ended and the news would probably pick up the video and play it over and over the next few days.

My .02

Also, I agree that it is Roosh's prerogative.

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

Recording then releasing later is better than a "live stream". If feminists and SJWs were able to infiltrate or disrupt, they'll use live video footage as some sort of victory dance.

Control the distribution and content, there's absolutely no need to stream it live versus waiting a few hours to debut (or even a Monday morning release in an ROK article which will get tons of hits and traffic as well as mainstream media coverage).

A live release of the whole lecture won't happen, and if I were attending I wouldn't want my identity compromised to the SJW's by accident.

Given the overarching themes that come together in the speech, releasing just a fraction of the lecture wouldn't make sense.

Plus, there's the risk of a mole yelling out the location at the start of the stream.

Edit: a sanitized release (with blurred faces, etc.) after the fact might make sense.

I voted yes in the poll but I now change my mind. The risks outweigh the benefits of streaming it live. Attendees could be accidentally exposed, some mole could yell out the location, the protestors could create a ruckus outside the venue, and even the establishment hosting it might be impacted negatively from it. Far too much to lose.

I think snippets of Roosh's lectures in Montreal and Toronto should be released at some point or even the full speeches for a price which I would pay for. The feminists would have a meltdown of epic proportions if portions of Roosh's speeches are made available on YouTube.

RE: Could the Toronto speech be streamed live and Recorded?
Here are my reasons in depth for believing livestreaming it would be a good thing.

Assuming that nobody's faces would be seen and the IP of the computer doing the recording would be encrypted so the location can't be outed (ZenMate should take care of that). If those two conditions can't be fulfilled then streaming it wouldn't be wise.

No one could have predicted just how big this would become. Roosh is the #1 trending topic in Canada right now. Think of how many people this could potentially reach. It would not only prove everything the feminists say is false in real time, it has the potential to attract a lot of people to the cause, and as customers, for life. Many people leaning against the feminist shits in Canada are curious and would watch the lecture. Nowhere has the potential to reach so many people and attract more guys in such a short period of time been here but now.

Roosh could stream a lower quality video, and then release the super HD video for the normal price.

As for someone being a mole, I don't find that argument very convincing. If there's a mole in the midst he's going to mass text the location with his phone no matter what. Assuming they interrupt the lecture, they'll have victory dance videos no matter what as well. Besides, these victory dance videos backfire on them anyway because everyone that isn't a freak sees how insane they are.

Again, these are just my thoughts on the matter, I'm not trying to be pushy as it's his decision, I just know a huge opportunity when I see it.

If I was in Roosh's shoes, assuming the conditions I laid out at the top could be fulfilled, I would do it.

RE: Could the Toronto speech be streamed live and Recorded?
When circumstances changes, such as this moving from a quiet speech to the converted to the number one trend in Canada, then so do your actions.

Lectures are mainly showing of the lecturer, this case Roosh himself, not of the audience. It can also be just the first hour component.

The primary change now is reach. Curiosity would be peaking. The best way to deal with this is allow the curious minds to get access to the message.

Secondary would be the tame content of the lecture shown in light of the hysteria of the serial losers. If a neutral sees a well groomed guy in a pocket square, versus the screeching nonsense of a cellulite ridden harpy, their authority further weakens as ours strengthens.

In this light, if you did have a disruptive mole in the lecture, it just reinforces this. Lothario can kindly escort them from the premises.

Put the video in delay.
2 minute or so delay would stop anyone from causing trouble.
The feed could be clipped for that brief period.

Even then, I don't think Roosh is gonna film the attendees to begin with.
I don't watch rsd videos, but I don't ever remember them showing attendees faces.

Our plate is too full to attempt this and I'd have to put trust in hired videographers. Sorry, this isn't going to happen.
