I suspect that more and more men will wake up over the next decade. As stated by another poster the single stats will continue to increase.

The question I have is how long do you think it will take for women to wake the fuck up? Do you think their will ever be a reverse in the current trend in western society or will beta males continue to give women a false sense of biological empowerment?

The reason I ask is I have ran into more and more women women in the 35-40 age range who are basically in desparation mode. It's as if these women have finally woken up and realized they have a biological clock. They all have the same background: high maintenance, hottie, attention whores who have reached pump and dump status. It's as if they didn't see it coming. I have been noticing this more and more over the past year.

Read Yahoo!Answers marriage and divorce section some time. It's filled with reasons to avoid marriage. Married women on there are entitled, utterly self-absorbed, feel absolutely no responsibility to satisfy a husband's needs (even deny his needs exist), are fat, nagging, horrible mothers, have no domestic skills and are ready to divorce and take a man's money and kids at the drop of a hat - ANY hat.

What would be the incentive? When they were dating, these women were probably thin (at least thinner), sexually aggressive, kind, considerate, professed their love of children and belief in a traditional marriage - all while realizing that the man-hating family courts will have their back if they change their mind. As men, we need to vet women better.

As to women not wanting marriage - I guess I attract the weird ones. No matter where I've lived, women I date start talking marriage in 4-5 months. It's crazy!

A firm hand has nothing to do with physical violence. You should never have to reach that point. Any woman who needs to be dealt with violently should be out of the game when it comes to your seed. I don't think you really understand. If the woman hits you, you'll go to jail for domestic abuse.

Pretty much you either become a total beta male while she cheats on you with impunity, or she divorce rapes you, or you restrain her out of control behavior (just a matter of time till it comes) and you go to jail. Those are the options, unfortunately.

The other option is to expat to a male friendly country, or get a unicorn from flyover country and pray she doesn't become corrupted by American culture.

Well touche to that, because here in the states, its been amply proven prenups are easily broken if the woman has a strong legal team. Dalrock had a great post on The Marriage Strike a while back. Basically, 17-20 yr old women in the fifties/sixties saw their older sisters married off by 20-23, so they had getting married on their mind. Many found a decent guy in high school or shortly thereafter via family/friends. Even as recently as the eighties and nineties, college undergrad hotties 18-22 saw their slightly older sisters around 23-26 getting into LTRs/marriage, hence finding a good guy for an LTR/marriage was a priority. Today, college 18-23 year olds do not have the idea of LTR/marriage even in the back of their mind. By mid-20s, that kernel of thought finally starts to develop, but women are pickier than ever and the college-educated ones are still partying some, going to grad school, looking for better options at that age. It's not until 28 at the earliest that many Gen-Y college women start getting serious about finding a husband, and I've even met 28 year olds who are still wishy-washy. This is why when you look at the 30+ female dating pool, it's a shit show of mostly flat-out unmarriageable women. You're mostly dealing with fussy careerists, ex-carousellers, single moms, and the fat and the fugly. Garden variety girls who were mildly attractive in their prime 20s become barren-looking, drop 2-3 points by 30 and are simply not attractive/arousing anymore. If they have sexual/dating/babymomma baggage, they simply have nothing to offer. Near-model-caliber hotties can still look very good into their 30s, but they most likely do not have a good reason for being single.
