Fuck this is sad. Maxim is the magazine where I learned on how to get the first glimpses of game since my father taught me nothing.

I remember talking to my girlfriend, and she was saying how intimidating I was because "I knew how to touch her so well." I remember pulling out my maxim magazine and show her it's how to guide on touching a woman's body. My GF was RED in the face and couldn't believe that guys "got a manual for women." I told her to buy some chic mags and they'd have the same thing. She was too embarrased - that was a red flag that I should have noted much earlier.

In Red Flag's defence, most chick mags I've seen are pretty shit when it comes to describing how to pleasure a guy sexually. On the other hand, they're not bad at describing how to ring a chick's bell.

The sad truth is women are more easily manipulated then men. Which means they are more likely to make impulse purchases off cheesy advertisements. Which means any product or site which relys on advertisement will always eventually cater to women once they see the easy dollars. That is why men have such a hard battle, as so many outlets favor women in so many issues. Favoring men simply isn't as profitable in many cases.

The Maxim/GQ/Esquire and any other similar magazine (probably every single magazine regardless of genre) is a waste of money, paper, ink, desk space. It cost $.025 for a year-long subscription, it'd still piss you off having to throw each of the issues away. If you don't read the whole thing but you're 'only half way through it' you have to leave it somewhere on your desk and contribute to the clutter.

Just don't do it.

Yeah you can see that with VICE magazine. In the beginning it was a very male, macho magazine, but then started to turn around, and now it has a radical feminist vibe. That started to happen after Gavin McInnes left the magazine. I'm sure they make way more $$$ that way though.
