DB, I would try to have one of these girls do your produce shopping for you - test out the prices when they do it themselves. Unless prices are market (perhaps they are), there's always a fair chance you're getting the 'Kano pricing.

That's awesome to hear DB!
How is the Internet connection? Fast and reliable or still slow?

How long ae you staying in DG for?

I'm looking to move to China by the end of August. The Phils are always on my mind and with prices like those you mentioned and with a nice beach town, it sure is very tempting!

How is the general talent of the girls in DG now that you've had some time to get a good feel for it?

Good idea. The prices I mentioned were the ones in the two main supermarkets here, but yeah the local markets should be cheaper. I'm just being lazy.

I'm thinking 3 months minimum. It's a good place to focus on online projects. Cities like Manila and Bangkok are fun, but provide too many distractions!

The talent is great. I think it's better than I've seen elsewhere. Whenever I drive into town on my bike I'm constantly distracted by girls walking past. The Negros does have a reputation for having pretty girls and I can confirm that it's true. The obvious downside I've alluded to is that they are much more conservative.

Forgot to report back on the Dumaguete situation. I took home a girl from the Why Not bar last week so I'm up to 3 lays here for a month. Otherwise I haven't really been gaming much. Have just been repeating with the chicks I already pulled. Funnily enough, the new girl called up girl number 2 while I was on a date. Gulp. Luckily neither realized (yet) that I had banged them both. This place is seriously too small!

I'm coming to realize that the girls are quite polarised here. Maybe it's the same in other cities but less obvious.

You have:

1. Good girls who work full-time jobs and are highly conservative. Little to no experience with foreigners. Interested in white guys but very cautious. Wary of meeting in public even with an escort. They have a lot of reputational value to lose. Will text but very hard to get out as they are worked to the bone.
2. The girls that get called "hookers" or sluts by other locals. More open-minded. Extensive history with foreigners. Not shy to frequent the slightly sleezy bars around town.

And not much in between. In my first couple of weeks I was mostly targeting category 1 and hitting a wall. In my experience, guys (including me) want good girls until they actually experience truly prudish chicks. Not fun! Category 2 is where you want to be short-term. I'm very conscious that I'm currently banging girls in the "slut" category which is 100% fine for my needs right now. I just need to remember to wrap up. Smile

It's all good banging the sluts, but if you want LTR material you will probably need to put in more effort here. More effort meaning multiple dates with friends and family members coming along (and footing the bill of course), texting them constantly, not being seen with other girls and so on. And I'm not sure I'm prepared to do that for the average Filipina. Most of them are simply not worth it.

This is just one man's impression, not the gospel. I admit that I haven't penetrated the student circles which could provide a different, more middle-class type of girl. But I digress.

If you come here to stay a while, forget the girls. Seriously. Dumaguete has grown on me big time since I did that.

There are some stunning places to visit such as Apo Island with its crystal clear blue sea where you can snorkel with giant turtles. You have mountains nearby in Valencia and diving along the coast in Dauin. All accessible with a motorbike. I'm not even scratching the surface yet. It's basically a great place to live a relaxed and very cheap lifestyle. You can get western food in the cafes for $1-4. There are some very nice venues such as Sans Rival that offer coffee and cake for peanuts. La Dolce Vita indeed!

Found her Facebook later on. She is engaged to a Filipino.

My guess is she liked you, was curious, but in the end decided not to jeopardize her future for a fling.

Respect. The right thing to do in this scenario

Interesting theory Onto but I think you are being too generous. And that's a dangerous attitude in this country. Whenever I think I'm being cynical here the truth often turns out to be far worse. Laugh

The club chick already admitted to dating another westerner in this town before. I'm leaning more towards semi pro/gold digger territory for this one. The way she gamed me, inviting me to her place to then reject my advances, the hot and cold treatment etc are classic tells of a professional. She is trying to string me along.

In any case it's probably going nowhere so better to move on.

Just to update on that girl, I made the mistake of agreeing to meet her for a third date a couple of weeks back. She was texting me super needy stuff all of the week and said she wanted to cook for me so I figured "Fuck it". She turns up dressed nice saying she missed me so much and had come all the way into town just to see me.

Literally 2 minutes into the date she gets a call and says she has to go see her "Auntie" but she'll be back within an hour. Of course I knew that was just a lie. Deleted her number and got a ton of calls and texts from her later that evening. Obviously just a validation junkie. No other explanation I can think of but I'll see her around...

Wow, talk about flighty. I wonder what her excuse was going to be? DG sounds really nice. I imagine if you lived there long-term it would be fun to buy a boat and explore the coast and islands.

I will be relocating to manila in Q1 16 and having been there for only two weeks solely focussing on notches I am wondering what else is out there for you any of you guys that happen to be there permanently. For me it was only shopping and nightlife.
I will be bored of that eventually.
I am thinking of learning Tagalog and joining a gym /mma school. But then again why the heck should I learn Tagalog in a place where everyone speaks English.
question to the manila permies: what do you do to keep you sane, stimulated and entertained apart from the obvious ?

NICE ROUTES AND PRICING BY ASIANA ( KOREAN) AIRLINE from Cebu TO USA

Just thought I'd post this as a public service. $561 for one-way Cebu -Inchon - San Fran when booked on Asiana's web site
and smoking hot but snobby Korean Air Attendants, plus no third world maintenance people like the ill-fated Malaysian Air.

There's only one stopover in a 1st World airport, Cebu's airport lacks the grime and confusion of Manila.

I cannot imagine a spoiled, narcissistic Korean Air Pilot from a Confucian culture taking a plane down because of some stupid hissy fit he had.
As an aside, my brother fought with the ROK troops in Vietnam and said they were hard-ass motherfuckers.

Also just for fun I booked this one with a three day stopover in Inchon as there is high rejection opportunities from gorgeous Koreans there.

This is just en example itinerary.

Hitting Cebu tomorrow. The online talent is outstanding. Have a hot 19 year-old with perfect English waiting for me. Will report back!

In Manila now, the ease is no surprise but the average quality you see on the streets in day to day life is well.. a bit low.
Bushido 路 2015-08-04 01:45:00 路 #1788
My short trip to Cebu was great. I ended up spending it with the same petite 19 year-old. She was everything I was hoping she'd be. She took a pounding like a pornstar and still wanted more. At one point, she got down on her knees and said "Let's not waste any of that cum." Just insane passion and submissiveness. It's nice when that happens. On the bus back to Dumaguete I was absolutely depleted of sexual energy. Of course she has a boyfriend/sponsor abroad, but at least she was honest about it.

Got tons of online interest from other cute girls in the 18-21 range. Walking around Ayala mall I was getting eyefucked by hot girls too. Seemed better than Greenbelt etc, but maybe it's just "Grass is greener" on my part. Cebu seems like a real goldmine. The city reminds me of Manila but smaller and with slightly better logistics.

Incidentally, there are lots of Korean guys staying there to "Learn English". Yeah right, sure you are mate.

In other news I'm up to 5 lays in Dumaguete. One was a cute little spinner with an American boyfriend. She has a nice tight ass and good tits on a tiny frame. Her boyfriend plays around on her in a douchey kind of way (actually asks her to answer texts to other girls) so I guess she wanted to try some new cock too. Their relationship is supposedly "open" but during the initial date we still had to keep away from prying eyes. Got her back to my place with the movie pretext and it was on. I banged her without any filter as she's a taken girl. Was funny to watch her expression change from shock at my roughness to pleasure as it went on. When I took her home she said "Thanks for the good sex." She will be calling me again.

The other new girl was an SNL from Zanzibar - one of the more Filipino-style bars. Big tits, mediocre face. Has been hitting me up ever since. Normally I'd next her but in this town you have to recycle your bangs. She's in the rotation but low priority to bang again. As for the others, one is insanely jealous and another straight up asked for money so those 2 are out.

I have entered the philippines using a fake ticket many times.

Just go through your email and find an old ticket. Find a genuine flight leaving the Philippines (with flight number, airline, time of flight etc), and use a bit of photoshop magic to put in the flight details. The only thing on the ticket which is incorrect is the booking number. Make sure to use a flight/booking agent from a different company, it's unlikely they'll check anyway, but they may check to see if the flight exists.

After a while you will get bored of racking up the notches. It is more about quality over quantity when you live here. I can speak enough Tagalog to get by and I know what my staff are talking about which keeps them on their toes. I had a language teacher when I first moved here in 2006, but learnt more through working here and dealing with Filipino's every working day. I'm a member of the Health Club in a CBD 5 star hotel and also avail of their loyalty scheme which allows me to eat in there restaurants for half price. There are a lot of good deals around for guys who have an ACR so make sure you get that sorted as soon as you arrive. I'm able to walk everywhere that matters to me, so make sure you get your condo location spot on; avoid P.Burgos, Edsa Complex, Caf茅 Havana, LA Caf茅 etc....all a fucking waste of time
For entertainment you could head to a number of the expat bars and listen in on all the ex SAS guys who have retired here (the worlds biggest regiment!)
Don't invest in any business venture offered to you, keep your money in your bank. Don't fall in love with a Filipina and buy land in her name even though she says she will sign a waiver
Just be patient and remember it's more fun in the Philippines....see you next year, I'll have a SML waiting for you on the bar

A lot of us foreigners unnecessarily spend a lot on messages and calls here. It's actually much cheaper to sign up for the various promos available. With Globe it's 25 pesos/day for unlimited calls and texts. There are monthly deals also but seems like they change all the time. Retarded system, but when in Rome...

You should visit several times before moving there.
My 2 cents.

I have been there 4 times over a little over 2 years.

Each time the "experience" became less rewarding.

I could not even imagine living there. I would go

Book eva air! Best airline out there for that! It saved my ass many times. Even times I wanted to change my mind it came in handy for.

And when I first came to the Philippines, I had an unusual way of getting away with the return ticket thing. To my pleasant surprise, my ticket which I got, later told me it was invalid AFTER I was sitting in Cavite reading the email I got. I never even got charged and can't remember what went wrong with my booking that rendered it inexistant after I was in the Philippines. I was NOT complaining!

It said I had my booking when I made it, but it said payment was not completed yet so they cancelled it for me with no charge ever happening to begin with. I was in luck taking my chances and buying my flight going there and the return, separate.

Getting a visa here is a joke! I thought I would just get in the office in Davao at 9 am. I was already in there 7 30 and FINISHED at 9 am instead!

Someone might notice my name and wonder why I chose it. I know what kind of politician Binay is. If Binay becomes president, consider this pussy paradise here to stay for good. I have been praying for Binay to become president because his way of doing things enhances a state of this nation that is the cause for the pussy paradise. Before I joined, I read discussions in this thread about peoples worries about losing this situation. What I can add to it in simplest terms is that if Binay becomes president and/or Philippines remains a country neglected by manufacturing interests, I can with 99.9 percent certainty guarantee you all that this pussy paradise is going nowhere. Based on my knowledge of the dynamics of a country's structure, this country is guaranteed to be stay like this for the remainder of the lives of those currently enjoying it as long as what I said in the previous sentence holds true. Those wishing to enjoy the place when they get older will be able to because I don't see it stopping.

Yeah I'm coming up on a year here.. burning out.. I've learned a lot but there's a point of severely diminishing return.

First the good-- I've really learned humility here and how cushy and easy we have it in the First World. Bitching about rude girls with tattoos.... I know now, some people have REAL problems, like living (barely) on a 95% rice diet shitty rice, with pebbles and shit in it. They can never go to the dentist their whole lives, and just suffer for years unnecessarily. I've also leaned more how to appreciate children, they take great joy in their kids, and I just see things in a way I couldn't before.

One good thing is I found a good health club with reliable, well functioning aircon-- I consider this important because I think it's insane to exercise in the traffic and pollution. I feel better when I go to the gym.

But the bad things-- just being alone here except for girls you know will always eventually ask for money, and the miserable pollution.

I don't like condoms, and only 1-5% of girls here have enough money to get treatment for STDs, so "notches" with very plain, poor girls is just asking for trouble here.

Just about every girl above a 5, even if she's polite at first will eventually start asking to "borrow" money, but their lives are so unstable the odds of getting repaid are low.

They also pressure you into lending them money by doing stupid stuff like going and visiting distant relatives and ending up there without enough money to get back.

They they call you and report that they are stuck, implicitly asking for money.

I learned a long time ago -- if a chick is hot to tell her I don't GIVE girls money-- but I realize I think it's IMPORTANT to tell ALL at the beginning that you don't LEND money either. Clarify that her emergencies aren't yours.

Because I have one girl I quite like, maybe a 7.5 MUCH younger, and maybe 105 IQ which is kind of rare here, and she just started asking to borrow money. It's a small amount but she's already slow returning texts-- imagine how slow she's going to get when she owes me money lol. Maybe she will pay me back, but I'm going to say no and that's going to damage the relationship some. If I had told her in the beginning ( as you should)

"EVERYONE I know tries to borrow money from me, just want to let you know I don't lend money to friends. If you lend someone money, you lose the money and the friend."

Hopefully then if they ask you know they are really unaware, and you allow both of you to save face by her not asking.

You start to realize most smiles are fake and the people are just polite.

It's hard to connect to people if you've had upper-middle class opportunities, no one can afford to do arts stuff for the most part and going ANYWHERE during the week in the large cities is so taxing-- sometimes even an agile rider on a motorcycle gets tightly jammed in traffic and the resulting miserable pollution for 5-10 minutes at a standstill, it can take 90 minutes to go 8 km ( That's the record, but still...)

You can think it's an adventure but it's really just so physically tiring.

Looking at flights back to the pussy desert to make some more money.

Depends a bit on which terminal.
Probably less than 20 minutes if you are in the cab before the traffic gets busy.
Maybe an hour if everything goes wrong.

Make sure you get to the correct terminal! They group flights by destination, not by airline (like most western airports do).

I went to the wrong terminal for my Boracay trip, and my flight was scheduled to depart in only 90 minutes, so I was in a hurry. That's how airport taxis prey on you... a stressed and rushed dude trying to get somewhere FAST. Ripped 800 pesos off me just to go from one terminal to another. Angry
