So I am liturally here on a lay over. I decided to move my flight back a day and check out Edmonton. I almost didn't even wanna fly through because I envisioned it to be like williston, but I was interested in seeing the Canadian oil industry. Now what I found was soooooo not expected.

So Edmonton is a surprisingly vibrant city And has a major college area where I spent the night. The minute I landed I started to tinder on wifi, because my roaming is stupid expensive here.(meaning I was limited on online game)
The reception I recieved is higher than minneapolis, fargo and any other black friendly american city. I was shocked at the quality and the reception I received. Very quick conversions
Side note: the more I explore Canada the more and more I feel like blacks are just not valued much in america. It's such a parallel comparison with Canada.

So %80 of my matches responded and %50 messages me first.
With in minutes they sent numbers and asked me to go out for a drink.

I arrived at my spot at 8PM.. Fuck I'm way behind.

Started pregaming and tried to run out and buy a Outfit. I'm a blazer up type of guy. But today I was out of my norm and settled for a snap back and a white v neck. I didnt receive my luggage so I had no clothes.

Well after several tinder invites and pregaming , now my judgment is off. So I hit the streets instead of meeting up with the girls. I got major eye contact as I walked down wyte Ave approaching. I settled in one bar, and within 30-60 of dancing/approaching, I picked up a French Canadian student s(she looked white Brazilian and had an ass)... We didn't even make it back to my spot and I had bent over on a side street banging her out side. Thank god for thongs and dresses.
After this I just went to bed. Lol
Fun night.

I cant believe this is an oil town. If take working here any day of an American oil city.

Glad to hear that you had a decent time in Etown, yes it is an industrial oil city but it isn't a small town like Williston (population 20,000) where oil is the only thing happening, its the capital of Alberta with a population approaching a million and as you've seen, is fairly diverse.

Well I generally always wing stuff(not a good idea in some places). But I was drinking and hanging with a polish guy. He said "damn bro you talk to everyone, my English isn't that good to do that." So maybe I was approaching more than normal. But it was just so easy... Because they are so inviting. They all make eye contact and talk damn near more than me.

Good stuff, glad you enjoyed it. Edmonton has been our little secret for a while. Your night is almost a carbon copy of my first night here when I arrived a few years ago.

Every time I see a race thread with the passive aggressive anti black racism in the everything else section I notice most the haters are American. Canada is night and day over America in race relations, hopefully it stays that way.

That said Edmonton is generally easier city for gaming, if you want more info you can pm me, I've been rolling around Edmonton, and some other western Canadian cities for a few years now. What will really blow your mind is the reception you'll get in small towns.

So I guess it pretty much goes unsaid that the difference between a brother's reception is night and day in Edmonton and say Toronto? Also, what are some other brother-friendly locales in Western Canada?

Vancouver is big time. If I wasn't tied to the U.S Government work wise I would lay my hat there. My dumbass self didn't make the trip up there until I was in the last few months of my tour in Seattle (I'm near DC now) and the reception I got was mindblowing. Several girls wanted relationships within a day of knowing me, but my time up there was short. Not to mention the quality is sky-high too, and good for a ski bum like me being near Whistler. Spent so much of my time gaming in Seattle and Portland banging my head against a wall and Shangri-La was a few hours north. Damn.

It's been a while since I have been out West, but I can you that from what I recall and what I see in Toronto now, the difference between places like Winnipeg and Edmonton, on the one hand, and Toronto, on the other, could scarcely be more dramatic. Non-blackness seems to be the most important characteristic that women look for in a man here; the signs are everywhere, and almost impossible not to notice, which is not to say that there are not some brothers who fail to notice.

I am sure there are brothers here from out west who are just shocked by what they experience here since Toronto, with all of its vaunted diversity, is supposed to be such a liberal and open-minded city.

Man the pendulum must've swung 180 degrees from the last time I went to Toronto (this was some years ago though). I was well received and loved the multi-cultural city and women too. Much different from what I have been used to here in the US (East Coast-Philly). Pretty much it's either black or white and masculine women here. It was refreshing to speak to women, esp black women in Canada who I found to be articulate, friendly and cooperative. God forbid the culture has deteriorated there but that's what it sounds like from what you guys are relating back.

I don't think that's a fair assessment. I've lived in Toronto over 6 years and there isn't an undercurrent of anti-blackness at all. There is an undercurrent and derision against some of the black hood behaviour that goes on in certain areas (Jane and Finch, Scarborough, Regent Park, Rexdale etc).

Arabs and certain peoples from Pakistan or India will hate on black people, no doubt about it. And gaming some of those women might result in death threats, for both you and her. Again, no doubt about that. But keep in perspective that some of those folks come from crazy backwards cultures where they cut each other up over the smallest sexual indiscretion. Honor killings are something we read about on a monthly basis in Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton. If they can kill a man, or a woman over fucking someone from the wrong caste system or religion from their own community, you can only image how they feel towards their women running off with a black dude. Again, it's good to keep a cultural perspective in mind.

The city itself is a fine place to live as a black dude and I'll possibly consider living there again if I can clear a minimum of $200,000/year (What I consider the bare livable wage there relative to what one can clear in the prairies).

If anything Toronto is hard for everyone equally, especially my white friends, they are not killing it out there. Also if you're only chasing white girls then it'll be even harder. Whites make up 50% of the population, and half of that is women, roughly 25%. Now how many of those are between the ages of 19-40, and how many are fuckable?. Obviously the market for chasing white girls has been exhausted. But if, like me, you love all types of pussy its still a half decent place.

I can't take anyone seriously who says Toronto is bad for black guys. It may not be good, but its not bad either. There's been many times where I see stunners with black dudes.

Every time I roll out to the nicer venues I see black dudes with hot girls. Even at shitty bars black guys are with attractive girls. As DjembaDjemba says Toronto is difficult for everyone, but girls have nothing against dating black guys in Toronto.

Keep in mind that the black dudes in the city have their shit together generally and are cool good looking dudes.

Toronto's tough, but let's stop with the doomsday crap. I know guys of all races who've done well in Toronto. Average house price in Toronto is $1.3 million. Unless you want room mates at age 30, or to live in a small shoddy condo, or commute 2 to 3 hours daily to and from work you need to be making good enough money to cover your housing expenses

People aren't balling in Toronto, most are dangerously in debt.
