Edit: Quinn is also promising zero for her supporters, which is mind boggling, scrolling around the rest of the site you've got artists saying "I'll do one digital painting per month" etc, sort of like continuing kickstarter. Quinn is just like "pay my rent so I can keep making free things"

More realistically, a lot of the work involved in identifying individuals is outsourced. Leftists movements are holographic: any piece, if broken off, acts as a copy of the whole and is ideally self sustaining.

An activist leader(Alinsky being a prime example) is heavily funded through front groups. Those higher level activist tools will in turn identify specific sub causes to support(such as internet feminsts), and those in turn repeat the process to fund individual agitators like Wu and Harper.

It's not as much as you think but it is still disgusting. Most of them resort to e-begging due to their twitter activism which makes them unemployable. A lot of them are also donating to each other so there isn't much net growth. Say person A gives 10 dollars to B and B gives 10 to A then they have 0 growth. It's a mechanic to artificially inflate numbers so more people will be willing to donate. For whatever reason humans tend not to donate to small projects but are more willing to donate to large ones.

He's not a bogeyman. He and the Koch Brothers are examples of big money men who influence politics in this country. They give a lot to causes they agree with.

In Soros's case that means causes which undermine masculinity, Christianity and promote degeneracy.

For example, Soros funds FEMEN and Pussy Riot through the National Endowment for Democracy to go into Russia and agitate for feminism.

Basically. Soros is a well known Leftist kingpin who actively funds a variety of leftist movements and activities. Including anti-free-market ones in spite of his own profits from those markets. The guy is a monster. He made billions by successfully playing the markets, and now he is using that money to damage society in every way he can. Some people just get off on hurting other people, he just happens to have the clout to do it on a bigger scale. To people like him, seeing rainbows on the white house is a 'next level up snuff video'.

It's great we do have guys like the Koch brothers on our side. They know they're fighting a losing battle, but it's an honourable way to go out.

That's the intriguing part of this to me. So many of the causes he supports are, or would be, personally damaging to him when/if successful. He is spending tons of money that is essentially against his own interests.... except, it only appears to be against his interests. He's getting it back in ways that just aren't apparent.

He is, kinda yes a boogeyman and kind of not. While there's relatively little doubt that Soros is a high level organizer of leftists causes it does at this time appear that he is a mastermind. Most likely Soros is working for and with other people, and we already know that there's families with wealth that vastly outweights Soros's (most notably the Rockefellers) who are pouring nearly incomprehensible amounts of money into left wing front groups.

One of many or a handful is where I get the 'boogeyman' term from. I remember when I was in government if anything 'bad' happened that couldn't be attributed to the current republican government "It MUST be the Koch Brothers"...vs. a reality check where it was just some rich Milwaukee land developer buying people off so he could build a walmart over a wetland. It can't always be George Soros at work either, I'm sure he has allies or other well heeled actors exist that fuck around with this stuff.

George Soros isn't behind everything, and no one in here is alleging that or pretending that he is (as far as I know), but he does fund a lot of harmful movements. I frankly find him quite interesting even though I am diametrically opposed to him and his aims.

My theory is that Soros most likely supports the causes he does because he reflexively loathes anything that can be construed as right-wing or nationalist due to what the National Socialists did to his people during WWII. His father actually paid a government functionary to pretend George was his Christian godson to escape detection in Hungary. As a 14-year-old boy he personally witnessed Jews not fortunate enough to have his connections having their property confiscated and being shipped off to camps. That would make an impression on any young man.

The popular theory is that the less Christian a society is, the more multicultural it is, the more it embraces moral relativism, the less antisemitic it will be. I think it's likely he believes in his causes but they were born out of a reaction to his life experiences.
