This is an incredible story. Dude's living in the life that many of us dream to have. Getting paid for doing what he loves to do, and having a 10(or close to it) for a Girlfriend.

Well most of it is probably paid by YouTube. If you are a YouTube partner, every time someone watches one of your videos and sees an advertisement you get money for it.

I've watched some of these top youtube channels and they are just not entertaining or funny to me at all. Vsauce is the only top channel I actually enjoy, personally. I wonder if these dudes had some kind of a hack to draw visitors in the numbers that they do.

I'm not trying to hate on the guy, but (I'm going to) I just checked a couple videos and it seems like all he does is make stupid faces, talk like a 13 year old, and generally act like a faggot on YouTube.

He reminds me a lot of my cousin. He's also a gamer who is loud as fuck and obnoxious with a very immature sense of humor.

I guess if he has over 30 million subscribers there are even more limp wristed faggots out there than I thought.

He makes money off advertisements, and endorsement deals. On Youtube. Generally 1000 views is between $1-5. Pewdiepie on average gets 10 million views per video. Which adds up to $10,000-50,000 a day. Add that up for 12 months. And thats a lot of money.

This video explains how Pewdiepie grew so much on Youtube. He makes daily videos with a large audience retention time, that gets Youtube's algorithims to promote his channel all over Youtube.

You have to understand that his fanbase consist out of 10 -14 year olds.
Ofcourse there are a lot more limp wristed faggots out there than we think, he knows that and takes advantage of it, to me it's all an act, he know exactly who those kids are what they want and just gives it to them.
I honestly don't know if i should admire or condemn it.

I mean, I noticed that some of her photos are certainly very choice. She is a good-looking girl, is photogenic, and knows how to make the most of clothes and makeup (and I picked the ones that were more average-looking; they seemed to be the onest that weren't done-up model type pics), but a 10?

Anyways, no hate and props to his success in business and with women either way. Nothing wrong with having a skinny and feminine cutie at your side and definitely NOT saying wnb.

Just not so sure I'd hoist her up all the way to the top of the pyramid.

^^^ I'd say she's at least a solid 8. Knowing that guys can differ a few points in their judgment I can see some guys considering her a 9+. Either way, that's quite a win for a video game dork.

Anyways, standards differ so the rating arguments never get anywhere. You got to love the passive fame game setup here though (from wIkipedia):

I have absolutely nothing but respect for the dude. Haters gonna hate, but that kid found a way to turn parts of his personality that you or I might find annoying and goofy into something he could sell online to kids and the immature.

Like him or not, he's an entertainer and he's made millions of dollars and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities, found a hot, feminine girl with long-hair among his fans who shares his goofiness to bang and has lived all over the world.

All I think when I see him is how I missed out on the golden period of tapping into YouTube fame and how I can tap into it now.

She's definitely near the top of the 1-10 scale. Not only is she physically attractive. But also lacks the snarkyness of Anglosphere women and has a sweet, feminine personality. She's making cutesy faces in most of her photos. But she's at least a 9.

Good looking girl for sure, but she's an 8 max for me. 7.5 is what I'd probably rate her. I don't see how anyone could possibly give her a 9. 9 would be a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model caliber girl, and I don't see her being close to that.

I dislike what makes this popular are the lowest common denominators for what millenials think is humorous. I could do it as a crowd pleaser for people (I do it for the young chicks I go after in smaller doses), it is just soul draining.

Here is the formula:

+ Food/non-alcoholic beverage nicknames and references (the favorites: sandwhiches (never specified unless PB and J), tacos, salads, fruit, teas, coffees, sugary drinks, desserts, pizza, baked goods)
+ Animal nicknames, imitations, sounds and references (the favorites: cats, dinosaurs, monkeys almost always)
+ Short bursts of singing pop songs (usually the most popular female artist of the day or guy current heart throb)
+ Short burst of gangsta rap free styling mix between small doses of graphic language, with mostly G-rated lyrics that incorporated food and animals again as always
+ Over-exaggerated winking from time to time
+ Innuendos about dating what's hot and what isn't
+ Mild sexual jokes that never cross the line of raunchy
+ Break out a random dance move to accentuate a point
+ Voice has to rise and drop rapidly
+ Wild hand gestures thrown in randomly for good measure

Dane Cook really refined this almost 10 years ago and it is still popular today, I still don't understand why people can't get enough of this combination.
