I'm curious, did he actually lose his job as other's have claimed? It sounds like he needed to resign from an "honorary professorship" and I'm just not sure what exactly that entails but it doesn't seem like he lost a job.

The problem is the future, what about the people that don't get into comedy because of this atmosphere? You never see or even notice the greats that had the potential, but never became, simply because they didn't.

Slight side note, I was at my old university today looking for backpacker/student-y travel insurance, glanced at the bulletin board to see a "boycott Daniel Tosh" poster. Complete with a trigger warning. I was a little taken aback, I always thought trigger warnings were the kind of thing said in exaggerated jest to satirically mock overly-sensitive retards. To actually see one I had to step back and think "oh, they're actually serious..." How could the next Tosh even get going at the most basic level here?

To follow El Chinito loco said, everyone would be wise to tread lightly. These are the kind of people whom society needs more than they need us. Like the above example with comics, how many great minds and great discoveries will be foregone by guys who just say fuck it, go their own way, or otherwise resign themselves to not doing ground breaking work because they don't want to deal with the BS?

The problem with women is that they introduce sexual tension in the workplace and, typically, they don't contribute as much as men.

I heard the story initially when he decided to give that apology but still stood by what he said. I thought damn, and moved on. But hearing that he's lost his job for this? when he's been knighted and recieved a nobel prize, I'm just shocked and annoyed by it. I think I've been triggered.

Yeah. . they've been doing that for YEARS. I knew a Norweigian scientist guy who was headed to China and being paid WELL to hang out in Shanghai and do research. Someone needs to reach out to this guy, China doesn't have any of that B.S.

A lot of people dont realize that there is a HUGE brain Drain going on of people form the west, to China. The more of this SJWism that goes on in science fields in the west, the more the drain will increase. Basically, Nature wins. . .

Forgive me if my comments are offensive; i say just accelerate the SJW / white knighting etc etc of said country and bring it to DEFCOCK 1 status.
If said country is to the point of no return (because this really on many areas takes the effin cake) , an accelerated reaction to bring it to social collapse might be the best way for a "restart" imho.

Well, I sympathies with him a lot. Could write a whole book on this subject, as I going to be scientist soon. You would not believe the stuff women do in science department and how the quality of education because of that dropped. If a man who spent his whole life to better the lives of the whole human species can be destroyed because someone said that someone heard that he said something about girls in lab, that you can only imagine what a young aspiring scientist in the field is treated like.

There's loads of debates on Youtube where he completely owns the opposition using logic and normal thinking. Look them up if you're a fan of his writing - they're pretty awesome. And funny, as he says whatever he wants - and like others pointed out, gets away with it because he's gay.

Something has to give. More and more people are seeing through the facade that feminism has been holding up. Feminism is the preserve of the white middle class female and her orbiters. They post articles about "mansplaining" and "manspreading" on social media, while young girls in deprived towns/cities of Northern Europe are getting raped, and many non-Western women are enduring genuine hardship and suffering.
