Be careful about thinking too much about game materials found online. So much is written for short fugly dudes to compensate. I have noticed that if I get out of my head and have a relaxed, pleasant demeanor women will often approach me. I know I have fucked up way too many times trying to overcalculate my moves when I would have been better off just relaxing and going with it. After learning more about game I look back in amazement at how much women overlooked. I remember eventually screwing up with a girl who got angry and said I tricked her with my looks.

It is of great benefit to you to put your a significant amount of your time, money and effort in order to become as attractive as you can be.

The more attractive you appear, the less hoops you gotta jump through and you can be less methodical and ease up a little. Don't have to dip into the bag of tricks and risk over gaming as much.

People may not wanna hear it but looks matter now more than ever in my opinion.

Interesting read. Seems online game is where its at for good looking blokes.. It doesn't really show on that thread about the quality of women. In my post earlier I was referring to the fact that 9s, ime, tend to date down. There isn't anything in that thread to show otherwise. Fair enough, as I say am only going on my experience. And I wasn't saying wallowitz guys have it made, just recounting my personal experience in my 34 years of life. Ive always worked in places with a lot of high end women so have some experience with them and seeing what theor partners are like etc. Fully admit to not being a PUA, so it's all a learning curve.

I would agree with this - textbook game was amazing for me because I was such a huge pussy up until age 25 or so. Then when I discovered Roosh and applied the game concepts to dating and going out, I probably was a bit over the top and not realizing that sometimes I already had them hooked just by being myself after the initial approach and banter.

But finally I feel that I more or less figured the right combination of how to act around women. Some game, some playfulness and cockiness at first, but then ease way off b/c it's threatening when you present a solid overall package of looks, career and possessions/status. It's funny because I didn't actually realize how many girls I had already "reeled in" until I've had some heart to hearts with my current long-term GF (first one in like 4 years, first one since I discovered game). Granted, I didn't usually WANT to have them "reeled in" - I was usually searching for a semi-elegant escape after a couple weeks of dating... But to summarize, for the first 30 years of my life I was mostly "too cold" and then for about 2 or 3 years I may have been a little "too hot". I was responding to 8balls post where he said "you either have not been exposed to good looking guy game or are still addicted to the old pua koolaid". I didn't know what he meant by this statement, so asked him to elaborate. Not asking anyone to hold my hand. And I am not arguing my limitations - I'm saying that guys who are good looking have to approach game in a very different way to avoid scaring shy 18-25 yo girls away, and I would like to hear peoples experiences of how they overcome this.

I made a comment to 8ball that in my life experience (not game), all the 9s I have known have dated down looks wise. That was merely an observation that I feel is relevant to the topic, nothing else. I should have kept quiet on that as I was really hoping to use this thread as a source of practical information rather than a general debate on whether looks matter, to which the answer is obvious.

I don't do online game, so the question about OK Cupid etc is over my head, as is the picture thread. From 8balls post though it seems that online game is the way forward for good looking guys, sio his advice has been useful in that respect. Thank you, 8ball.

And I read 'Game' and 'Daygame' and I found that by following a lot of the principles in these books, as well as online game resources I was actually overgaming and scaring girls away. Which was what prompted me to bump this thread. I'm not complaining or asking for anyone to do anything for me I am here to learn, and I will share my experiences as I go (am laid up with sinusitis at the moment so all pussy chasing activities are on hold).

Are you attributing the result to you being good looking and using the wrong kind of game? or just not enough practice?

Being good looking and over-gaming is a problem because it alerts the girl that you are clearly hiding something, even if you are not. Its not what she expects from you, what you are saying and how you say it does not match how you appear.

You present yourself as awesome, shit tests are the deciding factor for her (consciously or subconsciously).

Let me break down the cycle, the way I see it (excuse my shitty MSpaint skills):




Confidence (self belief or 10/10 belief) leads to Patience (that belief) leads to Feedback (results from environment) leads to boosting Confidence etc. and the cycle continues.

This is mainly for those who don't have delusional confidence levels and their self-image is somewhat rooted in their environment (internal self-esteem vs externally derived self-esteem).

Faking it till you make it, you compensate for the feedback with delusions, all the while boosting your confidence and patience.

Once you reach a level, your confidence is quite strong that you don't really rely on the cycle for confidence itself but rather a self-evaluation tool of your progress.

In the beginning, where your progress may be strong but the feedback a bit lacking, it is a decent way of getting ahead.

If you are good looking, your confidence should be raised and by applying the 'game' I described above, your feedback will be great.

So just hit the gym/develop your skills/become well rounded for yourself, say in shape and just pass shit-tests through solid frame, intent and congruence.

Pretty much what girls do. If you see a girl who you think is a saint and she turns out to be a slut, you will be turned off. If you got options, you will next, if not, you will give her more 'passes'.

Now it is obviously not black and white, good looking or not good looking. But to generalise..

If you are good looking, girls at a night venue make up their mind pretty quick after approaching whether or not they are interested to bang. If they are, they just want to make sure that there are no major flaws.

If you are not good looking, the girls are usually not interested or neutral. If neutral they want to know more about the guy before they decide whether or not they want to bang.

If you are good looking, it's more about either yes or no girls, not so many maybe girls.

Mate you are completely missing the point of why I posted in this thread. My body, clothes and lifestyle are spot on. I'm getting laid plenty. I am, however, missing out on bangs where I know the girl is attracted to me, because the girls is intimidated or nervous, and my game is not good ebnough to counter this. I bumped this thread to see of any guys who had experienced this could offer any guidance. It was also my intention to document my findings, which I started to do before the topic went off track.

In the past I never wanted to do online game because I don't like the way that its heavily in the womens favour, and I have always been doubtful as to the quality. After reading this thread though it seems there is good quality to be had and it might be a fruitful hunting ground, so I shall look into this.

OK so the point of your post seems to be that I have bad game, I'm aware of this which is why I'm on the forum. If I was a good looking guy with tight game why would I be posting on a PUA forum looking for advice?

Re your comment about there only being good game and bad game, in that case why don't we just have one thread on this forum entitled 'Bad Game'? There are a great many aspects to game and they affect all of us differently, by discussing them and sharing experiences we can all help each other improve these aspects of our game.


It may seem hard to believe but after getting scores of responses like "I don't believe you're being serious" "I don't believe you're not married", "You're just using me to get to ****" "you're doing this for a dare" flakes it gets kinda frustrating, hence bumping this thread.

Plus having girls being unable to speak anything other than gibberish when you talk to them, unable to remember their phone number/facebook/contact details, shaking like a leaf or falling over their feet....this kind of thing actually makes it quite hard to apply any sort of 'game' at all. initial interaction could hurt your chances, especially during day game?

As to comfort building, have you tried to tell her in a sentence or two max why you specifically want to see her and not any other girl? Like 'btw, I fancy your [whatever], are you free to meet up later?'.

With compliments I've found that a subtle indirect compliment is ok later in the interaction but not as an opener. I've found that in interactions where I've used this as an opener the girl seems very nervous. Pretty much all my success have come from an observational opener, or a petshop type thing (asking for a cigarette, for example).
