I have a lot of respect for Protein World for not bending over and taking it from feminists and the rest of the modern-SJW society. It's actually a very smart move on their part, since it's not like they're losing any potential customers, for obvious reasons.

It's funny that 70,000 people would sign a petition to remove a fucking ad. It just shows the way that feminists think.

If I'm not beautiful, then I don't want anything within my presence that reminds me of that.

Has anyone tried their products? I'm low on my UFC Combat Powder and considering their Strength/Muscle collection, but I'm having trouble finding concise reviews online.

This is awesome! I have seen protein world around but I'm glad they didn't cave.

Publicly threatening vandalism, smart.

It's probably not all that much better then optimum nutrition, maybe it tastes better, is non Gmo, etc. it's just a stack multi supps and protein. You could peice it together yourself for cheaper most likely. Probably taste is the big difference as it appears to be more "gourmet" and trendy.

Think of it this way: how much do you hate feminists? SJWs?

Assuming that you're ok with their ingredients, how bad would it be to take protein that tastes a little worse, yet is funding a company that is flipping the bird to feminists and SJWs? The taste of that in my book trumps a slightly bad taste.

"A controversial "beach body ready" advertising campaign has been deemed inoffensive by the British advertising watchdog, despite hundreds of complaints about the campaign."

Richard Staveley, Protein World's head of marketing, told CNBC he was "happy to see that common sense has prevailed".

I would buy a pack even if I dont need it to support the good fight. Come on guys, we been complaining about no strong-back entity standing up against feminism. Now its the time to help fighting the good fight. I would make sure when I buy their products to mention its solely to support their attitude

RE: Protein World to feminists: Grow up
The problem is the premise. I learned that from Rush years ago.

The moment you have to answer to "Is this ad offensive?" or "...too offensive?" implies it's offensive, and potentially too offensive.

It's like asking a guy if he still beats his wife.

Quote from that CNN news story chic:
"New Yorkers, seeing the ad for the first time, had mixed reactions"

Or to rephrase:
"New Yorkers, seeing the ad for the first time, h̶a̶d̶ ̶m̶i̶x̶e̶d̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ hardly noticed it, but when we polled a couple people and incited a reaction, they were mixed."

News is women-centric (or feminine-centric) nowadays. If you interview women, they can drum up drama in anything. And if women are interviewing people, they can drum up drama in anything or anyone.

RE: Protein World to feminists: Grow up
I heard a little something on the radio (in the UK) yesterday. It implied that the body that judges these things (advertising standards?) had ruled the adverts as non offensive.

I'd like to see the company run further with the publicity. Maybe a new flavour called "FT" (feminist tears.)

The ads have been on the NYC subway for at least a few weeks now and I haven't seen anyone give a crap about them in the real world. The only scuttlebutt I've seen on Facebook is from some very out-of-shape girls that I know (go figure)

Exactly, you're doing your bit for the cause, and still getting the goods anyway. It's win/win. I'll be buying.

They're now banned in London:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/14/europe/uk-...index.html

The announcement also established an advertising steering group which will monitor all ads it runs and look at better reflecting the full diversity of London, it said.

Full diversity = Promoting morbid obesity as healthy.

Granted it's an unrelated article, but the pic/link at the bottom is to Rebel Wilson being "body shamed". She's obese. She has a serious medical condition, as do the plethora of obese women/people on this planet. It's not 'shaming' to point this out.

What the fuck is going on in our world where this is now normal?

New London mayor not even bothering to be secular, but he has the cloak of political correctness so no one has the nuts to call him on it.

Another freedom of companies to express themselves via advertising goes poof.

It disturbs me how in tune the current goals of Islam and radical feminism are.

EDIT: I must regretfully call dupe on myself. This hit the RIP London thread yesterday. /thread-53210...pid1324012
