I still say whatever you do you need to make sure you have the best pics possible. Far more worth the investment then putting in time swiping right.

Strike rate on Tinder.

I have 1,800 tinder matches over about 8 countries, mostly SE Asia.

Thus far it's yielded 8 bangs. Mainly because I'm not really interested in dinner dating or buying drinks. I basically ask chicks if they want to come over to my room.

Pretty bad strike rate though lol.

I was very sceptical on Tinder (see my post in this thread) but finaly got my first online bang from it: a hot black 24yo student.

After swiping all girls right to the daily limit (as recommended here) for about three weeks I got about 7-8 matches in total - a very poor result. The only girl contacting me directly was a whale. But the black girl was a hidden gem, much better looking in real life than on her profile.

As soon as I picked her up I knew she was DTF and that it was going to be easy: high heels and open cut blouson. Drove her to the park, light kino and from there to my place. A drink and fast escalation sealed the deal.

Tinder is like a lottery but when lucky you could be the happy man.

There's an app called swype that lets you like something like 10 girls at a time, I think if you opt to pay you can do 250 likes at a time. i'm sure some guys on here know how to write scrips or something for free that will do the same thing.

Can someone with TinderPlus confirm if regular Tinder accounts are buried no matter if they are brand new or existing.

I just want to confirm some theories of mine and whether the paid accounts are favoured.

I have Tinderplus and my account has been going through a dry spell for the last few weeks. If I move my GPS location, I get a lot more matches.

I think a new entry to a new GPS location has more of a positive effect on my account's prominence than its Tinder+ status.

Been proven time and again mass swiping kills your positioning in the stack. Also, with the like limit, no way you'd want to swipe on SIFS and bots en masse and blow your daily allotment in one go.

I've signed up to Tinder Plus. Got top rate beach photo as cover photo. The girls on OKCupid are really into it, and I get about 6 phone numbers in a day, so many I don't know what to do with them, and at other times they are as dry as the sahara desert and won't even talk to me as it is now without changing anything.

So far only one match. I'm going to invite them to a bar walking distance from me. If they want to come great, if not I won't waste my time.

It's important to move quickly, but I've needed to build comfort over several messages before initiating plans/going for the digits. It's easier to expedite the process if the girl reaches out to you first, or her profile/messages are more eager/overtly sexual.

I'm a fan of requesting a photo for purposes of identity confirmation. Helps for screening out SIFs, building comfort and exerting dominance.

Thats seems really counterproductive. My first day on Tinder I just swiped right and that was a big mistake as a flood of ugly girls just came into my inbox.

Most girls are not worth swiping right. Why not just swipe right on the ones that have a decent looking profile pic? That why you're not hitting a limit and you are not sitting there with 180 matches with a lot of shit mixed in.

Depends on a few things I think.

I live in a provincial area of the UK. Tinder is still a 'new thing' to many people, so there are good amount of users. It's seen by some women as a more sophisticated approach to dating than POF and OKC, simply because it is new.

Yes stay positive. But don't get caught spending months or years online trying to get a few dates when you can have a better time and get a more positive experience/learning out in the field.

Having said that, my online game is decent and I get most of my dates from it. But I'm glad I have real world pua experience as a backup for when I don't feel like waiting days or weeks for a date. I think newbies could easily burn out doing online dating without realizing it. Same is true for real world pickup. The key is progressing in both and finding the right ratio for you.

Especially guys who are average looks or below. Your game will win you girls in the field who would swipe left online. Having said that, online game is a real skill as well.

Knowing you can possibly get a girl in a bar will help with your confidence online and you will be less needy and not feel bound in by the few girls who are responding to your messages.

It is dead. Well, for the overwhelming majority of users. Even some guys who went out and paid the $10 monthly for plus aren't seeing much action, if any at all.

With most things, it will be a steady decline before total extinction. It wasn't gonna be a huge commercial success, then once plus was added, everyone jumps off. It's gonna be piece by piece.

The first to jump off are guys like us who want to stay on top of dating trends, and realize when a particular well has been tapped. There were a few guys who left even before plus came along.

They are doing enough damage on their own as with every new update they just get worse and worse. The last update about a week ago wouldn't allow users to change the order of their pictures, and for some, the screen that shows you profiles to swipe on was completely blank. They had to do damage control and release a fix for it immediately I believe.

But what will really end them is when a new free dating app comes along. Not gonna lie, pretty surprised no one has stepped up yet, but am fully confident one is being worked on by someone, somewhere, as we speak. Hopefully by summer we'll have something new.

I need help with something here. I can't upgrade to Tinder Plus. I have the regular Tinder app on my phone (Samsung S6 Galaxy) but there's no way to upgrade to the new app. They keep saying to press the "blue location button" on the front screen, but there is no fucking blue button.
Any guidance on this? Is the upgrade only for iphone users?

I don't have 180 matches with shit mixed in. I have 180 matches with girls I'd bang as I unmatch any girl who doesn't meet my standards.

Sounds like you have an old version of the app. Uninstall it (this won't delete your account) and then head back to the Google Play store and install again for the latest version.

Sounds like you have an old version of the app. Uninstall it (this won't delete your account) and then head back to the Google Play store and install again for the latest version.

I even tried logging out of Tinder, uninstalling it, and then reinstalling it. I can't figure out why I can't get Tinder Plus. Is anyone else having this problem?

I think you need version 4.0 or higher (apps --> tinder to check) to access all the new features. I'm running 4.0.6 on my Nexus 5 Android and using Tinder Plus.

What version is your on phone?

I take it you don't see these buttons?
