I have been to barcelona more then 15 times and it never gets boring. What makes barcelona very special it represents so many flags located in one place, it s almost a must to destination to any american doing a euro trip, south americans are always well represented to, eastern europe, russia, germany, scandinavians which makes it a great place for flag hunting in my opinion.

Nightlife, it s on the expensive side, best clubs are on the beach in barcelonetta, i find opium is a good bet all the time, and neighboring shoko is an amazing place to warm up, drinks in opium cost around 14 euro, entrance sometimes is like 20 euro, so yeah it can get expensive pretty fast, next door shoko is awesome place to start your night, with a asian fusion cuisine well priced, and around 12 it turns to a club with nice bar and lot of tourists on the dance floor. If you are on a budget there is some site like yourbarcelona promote free entry to all major clubs before 1pm , you register online to ISAAC list, never tried but my friends did and it worked they didn't pay the 20 euro entrance. Security is very tight in most of those clubs, so no bogans for sure there and not a lot of violence.
Another plus, if you are flying solo and you want to guarantee you have fun nights out and meet tons of people before even getting to the club, probably barcelona has more pub crawls then all other european capitals, also very cheap and you end up finishing at one of the major clubs in a group, well some are more legit and more crowded then others, you can find a list on TA but that s just an option, you can venture out by yourself and have tons of fun.
I usually head around 10.30 in shoko for a light dinner and stick around till 12 and move to opium , beating the queues and meeting people before the big crowds arrive, Other options are catwalk, sutton and bikini.

Game, other then flags you have quality, in barcelona i scored many flags, that would be a bit hard to find, argentina, peru, kazakhastan unless specificly chasing them. As for quality you really have no shortage of stunners, last visit i met a german/brazilian model coming for a photoshoot and it was one of the best sex i had.
Gaming in barcelona is expensive but no matter what your age is you ll find some in barcelona, you can find 18 year old students in clubs as you can find many older canadian american women very horny in opium, actually they were on the hunt but milfs not really my thing. As for locals, well spanish girls are very hot, if you speak spanish it s a huge plus.
Day game depending on the season, but during summer some serious day game can be done on barceloneta beach, plenty of hot chicks around very open for a chat and may be a drink or invite for the numerous restaurants near by, a lot of girls go tan by themselves, which make it easier to approach them.
P4P is also available and affordable in barcelona, it s not SEA though, hourly rates are between 90 and 120 euros, quality very high, most of them are in brothers north of catalugna area, most of them legit and have websites with pictures of all the girls, so if you are into that, la vie en rose is a famous one over there.

I ve stayed in many places around the city, but my absolute favorite was Inside barcelona apartments vidreria, costing around a 100 euro for a duplex in peak season. Other option for people on a budget to stay at the numerous hostels, these hostels have privates for around 30 euros, read reviews before though. Barcelonetta, catalugna, las ramblas, el born area are all good places to stay.

For a long stay , Having a local sim with internet would be a big plus, google maps very useful for a first timer in barca, getting around is pretty easy metros connect most of the areas a single ticket is around 2 euro, while a taxi should cost around 7 euro.

- Easy to pull
- Quality
- P4p
- Day game

Cons:
- Expensive nightlife
- Big city
- Spanish required with most local girls
- Pickpocketing
- Scams and transsexuals during the night
- People trying to sell drugs every 20 meter.

What is the receptivity of the local girls toward foreigners? Do you need a strong social circle to game them ?

From what I recall, Spanish girls have not received high praise on the forum.

Well they tend to be more attracted to spanish guys who are good players themselves, but talking to one at the beach or in a club is quite easy and they are very open minded. University girls speak good english and they would gladly accept a drink from your part, what i noticed that spanish girls that head to clubs like opium (mainly a tourist club) are looking to have fun and meet foreigners. I think you need good game and looks to pull young spanish girls, and competition from spanish players is definetely there.

If you are a bit older, then clubs like sutton and bikini have a lot of 35-45 local women who would hit on you if you are good looking and they are down for some fun. Spanish women are hot blooded, they like sex, and milfs that goes clubbing with their friends are definitely looking for those one night stands.
Circles do exist but i think limited to 10%, you will see them mostly well seated in the big clubs in vip areas or outdoor areas and you can t break in those circles and you don t need to since there is plenty other girls roaming around.

Barcelona for game is not about the local catalanese who are in all respect one of the lest attractive ethnies in all of Europe if not the worst .

They are short , all black hair , not beautiful face , no Breast and have a big attitude and very close knit reputation .

This being said everything has exceptions .

IMO Barcelona is a summer destination because the town is flocked with tourists more than any other city in Europe in the summer or that specific regard , in terms of the partying tourist scene at least if not in sheer numbers

Saruman, short yes, black hair most, not beautiful face well they are typical small face, pointed noise and chin but that s not necessarily ugly but more like preference, can they pull a bikini with tight ass well hell yeah, small boobs totally agree also it s a matter of taste.

You are more likely to pull a south american tourist then a spanish girl, which isn t bad.

Saruman any place with a beach can count as a summer destination and barcelona is definetely one of the best, but it also has a mild weather during other seasons so it has tourists all year long, christmas/ nye period is crazy in barca, sprink break to, even in december it s not that cold and not always raining.

Op good write up.
I was in Barcelona last Summer. I was able to our hotel to get us on the guest list for Opium so that maybe a option for some guys.
I found the city more geared towards banging tourists then local girls unless you have looks/ Spanish language and staying long term factor.

Can you compare the honest volume of people in the opium casino beach area in autumn winter and spring compared to the summer months ?

Knowing I'm not big on Catalan Girls (who do have very firm bodies and great ass hell id take one right now ) , can you really compare the volume of foreign young tourists girls in other months than the summer id be very Intered in knowing that .

Beirut El born area most definitely, very safe, small restaurants round the corner, utility stores, 10 min from the beach and 10 min on the other side to reach La ramblas.

Saruman the volume is bigger during the summer that s guaranteed, but barcelona hosts a big number of foreign students, even spanish students from other areas that comes back during winter. Still most backpackers hit barcelona during low season because mild weather and cheaper prices since they look for budget deals, so even the rest of the year isn't that bad, btw christmas Nye is as busy as august period, with full saturation.

Best European Party city hands down and my favorite city in Europe...need to try it during summer. Most flights to get there are not super expensive.

I went to barcelona last summer. I'm going again in June. One spot if you don't want to spend any money at all with a LOT of girls is the beach in front of Opium/Shoko etc. It was an unlimited amount of girls, most of them drunk, foreigners, who are willing to speak with you. I was surprised i met a lot of french, like a LOT. Just avoid Indian people who come every 30 seconds to tell you "Agua, beer?" and try to sell you some drugs which are most of the time poor quality.

I noticed the same thing. There are tons of girl outside drinking in that area. Spanish guys have tight game and home court advantage but Barcelona is definitely the tourists party Mecca during the Summer and much more affordable then Ibiza.

Another place that i liked during the day was a kind of "festival" in Montjuic every Sunday. It's called "Piknic Electronik" it's a LOT of young girls. ( open only in summer )

We should organise a night out, but prior to, lets grill on the terrace.
