My primary residence is in a beach town that is a very popular vacation destination. Ive owned this property almost 17 yrs now and know, get along with and like all my immediate neighbors...except one.
Every neighborhood seems to have "that one guy": and he's ours. He's the kind of guy that just isn't very friendly, lets his dog shit and doesn't pick it up, and in general is kind of a douche. His own sister and her husband (sweet as can be people) live a block away and even she doesn't interact with him
And he's a USC alum and huge USC fan (fitting their mascot is a Trojan). He's one of those guys that hangs a school flag and dons a jersey on game day during college football season. He's
real proud of his USC affiliation. (This point is relevant)
Now mind you this guy is in his early 60's.
So about a week ago he decides he's going to hang a big banner on the front of his house "Summer Weekly Rental Available" with a $ amount and his ph number. Tacky as shit. It isn't that kind of neighborhood
Before I could even go over there and say anything to him several neighbors had said something to him and he basically told them to fuck off and they had called the city to complain (there are ordinances against this crap)
So rather than confront the jackass I decided to troll him. But how?
3 days ago I changed my wifi ID from "Hipsters Suck" to
"
USC Sucks Cack Hard"
2 nights ago GF and I are sitting on the front patio, having a glass of wine when I see him walking up and down the sidewalk with his cell ph in his hand. I think to myself for a second "wtf?"
Then it hits me. This jackwagon is trying to figure out who's wetting on his beloved alma mater by using his cell ph's wireless utility by proximity!
So as he walks by the front of my house I channel my best inner Bugs Bunny and say "Uhhhh...what's up Doc?"
Douchenozzle that he is he just walks by mumbling something about " @#@% finding out *$%("
So today I noticed the banner is gone. I dont know if he put 2 and 2 together and figured out what was happening, or City made him take it down.
For now though my wireless ID is staying the same and probably will all summer. Im glad that part of me has never grown up and never will
