Wall Street fat cat drops $240G on road trip to watch Giants take on Packers
Do you guys think this is a good deal?

The $240,000 road trip:
* 1,086 miles to travel in a 70-foot RV
* 5 Giant fans and a “cheesehead”
* 2 beautiful waitresses
* 3 TVs
* 26 bottles of champagne
* 65 Kobe beef burgers
* 100 gallons of beer
* 150 pounds of prime beef
* 10 live lobsters
* 6 seats on the 50-yard line

Here are the two "beautiful waitresses":

If he's working 100+ hours a week (not unreasonable assumption) and making bank, then hanging with good friends in a good scene is worth it.

What's 240K as a % of hit net work?

How many guys would spend 1% of their net worth to go balling?

Hell, lots of guys spend NEGATIVE net worth (credit cards) to go out.

Seems like a good time was had by all.

Ha.

I was wondering who "sold" the guy the package.

He must have pocketed a cool 100k.

Smooth.

I'd be a little bit worried about the beer supply.

I can't see that costing anywhere near that amount. 1/3 of that at most, and that's if all of the champagne was $1000 dollar bottles.

Me either, it was put on by Homestead restaurant in NYC...

Here is my estimate:

1,086 miles to travel in a 70-foot RV at 2 miles/ gallon = ~3000$ both ways
* 5 Giant fans and a “cheesehead”
* 2 beautiful waitresses at probably 3000$/day each = $18,000
* 3 TVs = $8000 depending on size and quality
* 26 bottles of champagne = $15,000
* 65 Kobe beef burgers = $1500
* 100 gallons of beer = $600
* 150 pounds of prime beef = $4,000
* 10 live lobsters = $500
* 6 seats on the 50-yard line = $6,000

That's about 56,000$, unless he bought the RV, which for 200k is not a great RV... I forgot a driver so add $25,000. You're right those girls ain't that great and those probably didn't even hit it... Hope they had fun. That restaurant likely pocketed 150K from this endeavor... not to shabby. Those guys don't give a shit anyways.

Guess us poor people will never get to realize the aristocratic thrill of riding in an RV and eating hamburgers...

Gotta admire the cat that sold the package to Mr. Wall Street. 50% profit at least on a quarter mil.

Yeah I can't hate on that, guys know how to have fun. Watch some roman-era Spartacus to see just how fun throwing your money around like that can be. You can tell these guys care more about having a good time than about the women.
