Obviously short guys can approach cold and use game to get laid.

My question for other short guys, however, is do you ever notice chicks checking you out or giving you those subtle indications to approach like eye contact, etc?

I’m asking because I’m trying to figure out if I’m not noticing these signs because girls aren’t showing them due to my very short stature, or because I just don’t have the acumen to pick up on it yet.

I have the sense and have been told I’m a good looking guy (besides height), but maybe random girls just don’t give those signs to short dudes, especially very short dudes.

Take a look at my signature. Stop worrying about your height. There is ALWAYS going to be someone shorter than you and probably uglier than you who is out fucking you. Letting your height affect you destroys your number 1 pick up tool: your rock solid self-assured confidence.

Bro Tip: When I'm outside the house I always keep my chin and head up high, incidentally it adds an inch or two to my 5'7 frame. Not that I give a flying fuck anyway.

Still got those self limiting beliefs? My bestmate is exactly my height and he's been dating a 6 ft giant of a woman for two years now. He calls the shots in the relationship. He's got a busted face, average body, isn't rich and doesn't dress well. How's he do it? The same way any guy has ever gotten laid: GAME. Forget about your height. Game wise, it does not exist.

I'm 5'8" and all I can tell you on this subject is that I get eye-fucked more in places like South America where the average male height is lower than I do in the US. That could be due to any number of factors though (it's probably because I'm a gringo and I stand out more there). That said, I do get it in America so it's likely that you're just not recognizing it some of the time. Height is definitely a factor in immediate physical attraction but it really isn't as important as you think. You'll do better if you just assume that you're the shit and every girl wants you anyway--don't hesitate to go in even if you're not getting flirty eye contact.

Yeah, I know. I was just curious whether it’s reasonable expect to get eye contact or other indications to approach as a short but decently good looking dude or not. I’ll still approach either way, but it could affect how you ya go in, ya know?

One rule that seems to work is "If she makes eye contact more than once it's not an accident." Girls are great at keeping a non-committal expression, just looking at a guy they think they're being really obvious.

P DOG is spot on.It's better to be a good looking/stilish short guy than to be Tall & ugly.
I'm also 5'7, what I do is to workout to not appear fragile, and besides that you need to be constantly working on your inner game , specially if you want to approach taller girls.

a good example:My cousin took a picture with Robert Downey jr.(Mr Iron Man) last week in Rio, and he is a short guy(5'6 - 5'8).But the man has style, presence and an alpha vibe.

Even if he wasn't famous, he would be pulling hot girls, no doubt about it.

While it’s certainly not tall, I don’t know if I’d say 5’7 or 5’8 is that short. The average U.S. female is 5’4” anyway, so at 5’7” you’re still a few inches taller than most girls.

I’m talking about being at a height that is shorter than the average girl (5’ to 5’3”).

But anyway, I appreciate the insights on general mindset as a short guy, but my question is really just to the specific of whether I should expect to still receive inviting signs from girls if I’m shorter than most of them or if that is unreasonable to expect.

While a guy should generally approach any girl he wants to bang, it’s definitely a helpful tool to know whether she’s interested or not going in. If I know that no guys that short really get eye contact and such, I can forget about thinking about that and just get my approach on. At the same time, if I hear that dudes that short are getting indicators, then I know there’s probably something with my appearance, body language, or whatever I should probably look into if I’m not getting those indicators.

I realize it may be hard to get an answer to this question because so little of the male population is that short, but just wanted to see if I could get any insight.

I think when your short more so than when your tall clothes and fit becomes key. A little too baggy or long and it highlights this fact. Also if your overweight its more noticeable when your short. When your 6'3 and fat you appear less fat than a guy who's 5'6 and fat. Good clothes and good physique and it shouldn't matter. I know guys who are 5'2 and have counts in the 100's. One even had a steady stable of 5 women. Height is only as big of factor as you make it be. On a side know one of my current gf's called me tall a few weeks ago. Now I'm 5'9 and I don't wear lifts or any goofy boots to appear taller. I looked around and gotta say, she was right. This was at a night club in Cuba, but similar results should be seen in Latin America/ Asia where the men are typically shorter.

I get a lot of IOI's from chicks that are sitting down while I'm standing or walking without someone taller next to me. I also get a lot of IOIs when I'm sitting behind the wheel of my car.

When I'm standing and the chick is standing, not so much.

When I'm standing, the chick is standing, and I'm in a club filled with tall dudes, even less much. Like, I get a lot of backs turned on me at the least second as I get close.

Checking some one out visually shouldn't even be considered an IOI. Who gives a fuck if short guys or tall guys get checked out more? Or if men wearing red shirts get checked out more than men wearing blue shirts? Or if men wearing designer jeans get checked out more than men wearing nondesigner jeans.

It's just a girl checking you out - it doesn't mean she wants to have sex with you.

The distance between a girl checking you out and getting laid, or not checking you out and getting laid are about the same.

The only thing that getting checked out does to you is boost your self-esteem: "Oh look, some girls think I'm attractive." But then when you haven't gotten laid in 2, 3, 4 weeks, you ask yourself, "wait, why do girls check me out but I'm alone right now?" What good does being attractive do for you anyway? It only scratches the surface...

You have to walk with your head high. I'm 5'8, mechanico is around the same height, mr gm is 5'7, mixx was 5'10. You're not going to get girls if you're so stuck on the height thing. I've seen some goofy looking giants who might as well be 4'8 because you can tell they have a hard time pulling girls just from how they carry themselves.

Another example , I was reading a book about weightlifting yesterday and there was a profile about Franco Columbu , the guy who was Arnold Schwarzenegger's mentor and training partner(way before fame) , who also won several Mr Olimpia titles and was an actor back in Italy.

The guy is 5'5. Strong as hell. Someone doubts that he was swooping madly back in the day ? (he's 70 now)
