Sorry the title sounds like a cheesy pickup line, but the question is sincere. Who flakes more, men or women? What about online? I just presumed men don't flake. Men do the asking, and they typically must do reconnaisance and planning. If the guy musters the courage to ask someone out and chooses the setting, then presumably he follows through.

But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe men flake a lot too. Or maybe I'm just the saddest sack in the universe, and women only flake on me, especially if it's online and there is a weak connection.

If you honestly think that, then I'm wondering how you have 300+ posts. It doesn't take much reading to figure out that tons of guys on this forum have been flaked. Even if you just ask a friend or two of yours, they'd probably say it happens to them too. It's just something that's inevitable, like death and taxes. Take note of what might've been wrong, and then try again with someone else.

And by the way, online is flake-city. At least for me. Maybe you should try more non-internet approaches, they may work better for you.

If a dude sees a chick he wants to fuck, he'd be more than willing to try to meet the SAME DAY. It's generally chicks that stall until they "get comfortable" with a guy they meet online. It's in females' nature to feel conflicted about almost EVERYTHING, so flakeage is normal. That's why you always need to be working a few chicks at the same time, so if a couple flake, you'll hopefully have other options that won't.

Women ALWAYS flake more, regardless of age.

Consider these aphorisms:

A man's word is his bond.

It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind.

The best advice is to be working at least three women at the same time and always be working to add more to that group.

Even when I was lining up 6 dates a week, an average of half flaked. It's a given.
