Happy New Year everyone,

This is a great forum and I have been learning and laughing a lot reading the various posts and thought it would be appropriate to share something as my first post:

Avianca the Colombian airline has a promotion where you can buy their Life Miles frequent flyer points at double the miles 2000 for $30.

A return ticket to Medellin from JFK will run you 24,000 lifemiles or $360

The cheapest flight on skyscanner.com is $743 so this is a big savings!

You may even be able to arrange a stopover in Bogotá since there will probably be a connecting flight.
