Guys-

See this post. Any time you take a pic, you are automatically a tool. I don't care if you create the mona fucking lisa, you are still a tool. Now, Roosh's suggestion does at least get one out of that zone. But why ever enter it?

What would I do? I'd ask the dork in the back to take our photo and tell him that I'll do the next set while at the same time turning around and placing myself in the middle of the 4 girls. I'm quite attractive, dress very well, and have good BL, so no real negs will be used/ needed. I'll tell the Blond on my right that I used to eat dirt when I was a kid and I'd whisper in China's ear before the pic was taken that I wanted her....

Then I'd just banter with them and if the guy asked me to take a pic, I'd just give him a smirk that said, "do I look stupid". He's done at that point (actually, he's done as soon as he takes the camera from my hand).

Of course, all this assumes that he's not in a relationship/ related to one of them. My intuition tells me he's just an orbiter. If I'm wrong...oh well.

Jack- Think man, think. Think outside the box. Look at yourself doing this in the abstract. You were a tool. Even though they loved it, did you fuck them? I doubt it. Next time you are out, watch guys take pics of chicks. They are tooling themselves. It so obvious.

I do agree that taking pictures of girls with your own camera, especially of girls you are not fucking, is a great way of lowering your value.

I am so confused. Anytime someone asks you to do something for them, they are tooling you. If those same 4 chicks would have asked you to buy them a beer, would you have cracked out the wallet? I think not and you've written as much. Yet you'll gladly take their camera and perform a circus act for them? Dude? Please, wake up. You are better than this. You just changed Roissy's question and that is not fair. If they are all naked and sucking each other's twat and I was having fun with them and IF I thought this spectacle was something I wanted to capture for historical perspective (ie I wanted to get my rocks off at 60), then I would take the photo cause it pleased me....

Jim, I see what you are getting at, but I think you are taking this a little to extreme.

If a girl comes up to YOU, and asks you to take a picture, it is an OPEN.

Flip it and have fun with it.

I do not prescribe to this theory out there that pick up artists spew non stop: Never buy girls drinks, never give a girl a cigarette, never, never never.

(Keep in mind, most of the "pick up artists" out there have minimal time in the game and meager track records)

Same thing if a girl asks me for a smoke. Sure I will joke around with her and give her a hard time, but I will give her one. She Opened me.

If you wait around for girls to come up to you to buy you drinks, you are going to be waiting a long time.

You are correct. If it is an open it's an open. If so, run with it. I think that with most guys it's not an open but a tooling. This is something that must be calibrated hence the low approval rate from Roissy in his posting.

i have to agree that nothing is ever black and white in the game. just because something would be wildly inappropriate and beta in almost all conceivable situations, doesn't mean it would literally *never* be apropos.

If there's one thing I noticed while being in the "field," particularly hanging out with attractive girls while they're getting hit on 24/7, is that there are no damn rules. If you are worried about constantly giving the impression of being alpha, you're not alpha. The "community" makes it seem like a constant battle, but it's not. Picking up a girl is like learning to dance. You keep training and training, and one day you eventually get in the flow, and you can make anything look good.

The biggest component of being alpha is confidence, and confidence is when you are comfortable in your own shell. If you're going to get all hyphy because some chicas wanna be your mamacitas, then that's your problem. But look at it this way... A girl will approach a guy while she is in a group for two possible reasons: 1) she is attracted to you and wants to open you (which depending on how confident and attractive you are, can be pretty common) or 2) she's the type that likes to get people to do things for her.

In conclusion, there are more important things in life to worry about than whether or not you're going to take a god damn picture.
