How do I play this one?

I met this girl working the bar in my local pub she’s new only worked there a week. First night we got talking; and I learnt quite a bit about her. She’s well travels having seen most of Europe, and just returned home from 2 years in Australia. She wants to study graphics/art in Italy this fall; turns out this study course is almost the same as what is studying here in Canada i.e. adobe Photoshop and 3d studio max. Further conversation revealed she doesn’t have any software and doesn’t have the first clue how to use it. I offered to copy the software for her and she gives me her number & face book details.

Second night I see her at the bar; I walk in she says hi and brings me a beer; I give her a DVD with all the software she will need and offered to teach her how to use it. This isn’t a busy bar on the best of nights. Soon it’s only me and her left in the place, at this point were doing shots together and not paying for them; she wanted me to chose the shoots but she didn’t wanna do tequila so I let her choose. She ended up giving me a ride home although I did have to bump start her car because she left the lights on lol.


Third night I see her (last night) She had checked out my face book pictures and made a comment about a picture of my home town in England; the comment said something like “beautiful let’s go now”

She also checked out some of my 3d animation stuff and used it as a topic of convocation; she said it was amazing and she wants to learn how to do that kind if work.

I make playful comments like “you remembered to turn your lights off tonight…right?”

We end up doing a few shots together and she gives me a ride home again from the bar; on the way home I asked when she’s working next. She said “Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night”

I come back with “ok so if you’re not working Thursday why don’t you come out to this other bar with me for a drink” she said yes and asked me to call her tomorrow (Wednesday) to arrange it.

I haven’t been able to build any sexual tension with this girl yet; and we haven’t talked all that much because even on a quite night she is still busying around working for the most part. I haven’t really come across like I fancy her, I was trying to be nonchalant but I fear it came across more like “nice guy, good person to have as a friend”

When I asked her to come out for a drink one of the things she said was.

“I won’t have had time to look at that software by then”

So I’m confused, did she think I asked her out to talk about school work and art?
I really don’t know how to play this one; I need her to see that I’m interested and get her interested in me. Because somehow I doubt the fact that I’m good with graphics is going to make her wanna fuck me!

Any advice?

PS im kinda shy and my game is quite poor, i really have to work at acting confident, some times i can pull it off but of late, hell i suck![/align]

Say something along the lines of "I don't think that's necessary." She is likely hinting that you've hit friend zone with her and she wants to keep it that way.

You can't dance around this one - if you act like a friend, you will be a friend. The only way to know where you stand is to be a bit bold. Try it out - you were given balls for a reason.

Why are you offering to help her out with her life unless you want to be a buddy? Helping a girl out does not build attraction. You have showed to her that your value is not giving her a good fuck, but being her computer dude.

dude,you are fearful for the outcome now,which is a needy stuff..relax,chill and be confident on running the game without thinking too much for the climax.

whatever you do,just dont let her learn computer experience from you..give her thirst.

My strategy, which has worked for me, is to just go for it. Even if it is going shitty (ie. no escalation) just go for the kiss. Line it up with a good cheesy line about being bold, or only living once, or some crap and just kiss her, you seem to have built enough rapport, and she seems like one of those loose hippie travelers. If she denies you, you know you can stop putting in any effort and move on. This has its ups and downs, but I think in your situation any more time to try to spend "escalating" will just move you more into the friend zone.

Just go for it.

Welcome to being just friends. My belief is that you have to start building attraction from the very begining. You've been offering to help her with this, that, and the other which is something a friend would do. Trying to do anything at this point may be futile.

Yes already.

She already has an impression of you of a friendly/safe guy, and your game isn't there yet to turn it around. I think it's done.

When you guys are doing shots are you touching each other or what? The whole point of doing shots together is to get closer and drunk together, and then eventually get her blacked out and do her in the back of her car while she's unconscious. haha, jk. Seriously though, Kino! Touch her, see how she reacts, get closer and closer, escalate... She's taking these shots to feel good, and you're going to feel good with her!

See how she reacts to your physical presence the next time you see her and you start busting down shots, and then you'll know exactly where this will go.

Oh yeah, when she says something like “I won’t have had time to look at that software by then”, just say you wanna just meet up for drinks and get krunk. She seems like the type of girl who would be into straight drinking. She's the type of girl that just wants to have fun, so try something like that out.

Thanks guys for the advice; I prefer the optimistic advice but at the same time I don’t want to delude myself; I’m going to call her soon to arrange this night out. I already told her where were going, I thought it best going to a different bar to the one she works at. I guess I’m just going to try leading the night how I want it to go. Like if I wanna sit outside and smoke then we go outside and smoke (even though she doesn’t smoke herself) I’ll make no apology for my bad habits, and I don’t care if she approves. I’ll tell her were doing tequila shots even if she would rather do some girly alternative. And like I won’t ask her if she would like to play pool, rather I’ll tell her I want to play pool as I lead her over to the table I’ll try work up the touching and fuk it, I’m going in for a kiss no matter what. If I crash and burn the worst is ill have to endure shame until September when we both move away for school.

I think my plan is going to be, show her a different person to what she expected. Implying that I was only behaving myself before because she was working but now were not at her place of work and I’m not just a customer.

Sound like a plan?

haha so i called her cell to arrage it , she didnt answer and she doesnt have voice mail set up; I only called once and i wont be calling again, i might email her tomorrow just saying "i'l be at said bar from 8pm on with some friends if you wanna meet there"

she dont even know that it was me that tried to call so this way it looks like im going out anyway to have a good time with or with out her and that i dont care if she comes or not
