Books on reading body language are integral as well. Let's not forget learning another useful language to help you get the ladies. I'm in the middle east now, yet am taking spanish lessons, go figure.

The game by Strauss is a classic, has some useful tips and stories.
know what EVERYBODY is saying is a good one too.

As this is not really directly related to game, I find books by Malcolm Gladwell useful in showing off knowledge and interesting things. For rexample, the tipping point and outliers are easy reads and you can parlay that information into charming a female or group in your quest.

Nicely said! Dale Carnegie's 1930s book is still kickin it today! It's even on audiobook! Great Read!

How to Win Friends and Influence People is a classic for beginners who have little or basic social skills. A must read for young guys who aren't natural conversationalists. I like to look at it as a early foundation for more advanced social/sales/game skills. Just a basic book that tells you ways to "treat people like you want to be treated." Highly recommended though.

I must second this recommendation. While I'm hardly a beginner at nearly 50 I freely admit that my social skills have not been what I would have wanted them to be. It's helping a lot and making once opaque situations more transparent. Basically it's "Golden Rule" stuff broken down into bite-sized portions with examples of tangible results.

i'm considering buying "the art of seduction" just because of the reviews on this board and whatnot, but when i actually dl'ed the pdf and read a few of the pages it doesn't seem really practical. just seems like a bunch of theory...

is it worth the read? i feel like it would be interesting but it wouldn't really be necessary for game.

I think the Art of Seduction is more relevant when it comes to LTR vs. pick up. In other words, there's not a lot a practical advice for "picking up women" in the traditional sense, but a lot of stuff for once you're already in a relationship.

Getting into the person's head, connecting with them, manipulating their emotions, making them fall in love with you...

Even if you're not a manipulative person it's good to see how women can use these tactics on you.
