Ok... I'm just a new guy/pathetic AFC to the community here. I've been reading Roosh's and Roissy's blogs for some time and haven't really been serious about trying these "game" techniques until recently. I'm currently halfway through Style's book and starting to get the urge to start devouring everything else on game I can get my hands on.

I'll admit first hand that I'm a huge pussy when it comes to initial approach. Regardless, the other night I did opened a set with 3 fatties and a hot chick and managed to number close the HB with a couple numbers games and a few dances.

Once I pulled that off, I was on top of the world. It was my first actual attempt at using "gaming" to pick up girls... and it worked. Who would have thought? Soon after, I had way too many drinks and ended up thinking I was invincable, so I eyed the two hottest chicks in the joint and attempted an approach... I crashed and burned... I'll tell you how... you just tell me what I did wrong.

So... I pretty much just opened up with Style's 5 wrong answers game. I felt immediate repulsion when I opened. Like... "No thanks... we don't talk to losers" kind of repulsion. It totally destroyed me. I'm pretty sure that most of the problem was because I had way too much to drink, but I had no response... I kind of just stood there in awe of the utter failure that just occurred and just walked away to try to laugh it off. The laughing kind of worked... but I felt pretty bummed.

I think the big problem was the fact that I approached after way too many drinks, but I'm thinking that I did something wrong in the recovery. I really wanted to just neg and blow it off, but it damaged me and I couldn't just brush it off. Those girls were mean.

Anyway... I'm just trying to figure out how to just soldier on. I've tried two real approaches so far and am 50/50. One a number close and the other a total disaster. I know the answer is to just blow it off and bang 10 girls, but I'm just a total AFC... that is not a possibility at this point. How do I regain my confidence?

there is no way getting success without taking the rejection pill,and trust me..you will face even more than that...keep approaching untill you are used to rejection.

First of all, what is an AFC? Algerian Feral Chode?

Second, it sucks balls when it happens, but it happens. It is better that you got shot down straight up in that club/bar than one and a half dates in after you have wasted your time. When you get shot down like that, there is no real "recovery," thats just it; simply moon-walk back to the bar. Also, avoid direct approaches like that, so that when you do get shot down you don't physically have to (moon)walk away.

But basically it is a process man, trial and error, always evolving. You can read all you want but until you have been in the field it is all just empty info, you need to figure out what works for you and what doesn't, get some key conversation points, stories, or dial down your ability to observe and analyze a given situation.

Remember, girls aren't mean. It's all your fault and you could do it better, that's why THEY aren't mean. Are they still mean if you succeded with a !close? Nope! But still, they are the same people.

So remember, if you're going to approanch girls, don't blame your falure on others. You make your life, so embrace it!

I haven't come to the point that I'm even approaching girls, but I'm reading and learning like hell right now from youtube, Stylelife, Pickupartist.vh1.com, Juggler and lots of other sources.

Alcohol will make you slow and "ugly", stink awful and lower your learningability in the feild. Booze will just make me an bigger AFC, than I am.

But you did a really good thing: You fucking approached! I love you because of that!

Try with an opinion-opener istead. Or and "Oh my God! Did you see those girls fightning outside?"

Get that exact type of rejection a few dozen times and it will no longer bother you.

Drinking too much is terrible for your game. I know you feel invincible when drunk -- quick-witted, charming, funny -- but no one is. I've been doing a lot of people-watching this summer, and it's usually the drunk guys that get blown out within 15 seconds.

Hey man the first few times really do suck balls. But like everyone said, you will become numb to the feeling in time. I'm waiting for that numbness with ya bro.
