I used to have a way to do it awhile back if you really monkey around with the search settings, but so much has changed on the site I'm not even sure how to do this anymore. I really wish it was more like myspace in that sense. I actually got dates and fucks off myspace just from random girls that liked my profile and hit me up. That shit sure has hell has never happened on FB.

When I travel I work. Say you're doing volunteering, type that volunteer org into the fb search bar and bam, everyone listing them in their profile will appear. "Hey I'm gonna be working with ____ for a while! I was wondering if you could give me any tips Wink" or whathaveyou, and you're away.

I'm not a ONS kinda guy so I can't comment on whether this is a good strategy for that, I basically like a gf or two wherever I travel, it's a great way to see a country and explore exotic women. I fucking hate the UK and am leaving as soon as I can, I wouldn't even mind moving to the Leb, although my career means I will spend ~6 months a year in random warzones.

Would like to go there soon as I'm part Lebanese. Grandfather came from Lebanon. Is it safe today?

@misterstir: I have a pipelining guide here.

Anyway, I'm off to Beirut in two weeks.

Sounds like they're hard nuts to crack. Does anyone know if there's a shoring scene there?

Also, will the clubs let you in if you're dressed in Mexican pirate costumes?

Lumiere, you're a fellow crewmember with a Siege or two under your belt.. any ideas ?

For anyone else who's been - Anyone know the best pick up bars (not clubs)...

@speakeasy - we have the same taste ... dam!

RE: Beirut
My cousin lived in Beirut for a long time. Even when they were telling all foreigners to leave while they were at war with Isreal, she liked it so much she wouldn't leave. Personally, the only experience I've had with Lebanese people was two weeks ago a couple from Lebanon checked into the hotel I work at. They sucked.... They took at least 30 minutes of my time and asked all sorts of questions, and I gave them all sorts of good insight. The assholes ended up only tipping me $5. That's pretty bad considering some people take up 10 minutes of my time and tip me $50 without asking a ton of questions.

OK..
I've booked accommodation in the Ashrafieh District where all action is.
Any recommendations for bars/clubs on Monot Street? Laid back places?

Arriving next week.. can't wait! Smile

Pirate themed boat party?

http://www.beirutnightlife.com/nightlife...sets-sail/

As for Monot street, just walk the length of it. The smalller bars on that street and off the side streets were the best. Try and find some live music and if you see a lebanese chick singing that sounds like Janis Joplin then you may have bumped into Xriss Wink

Warning. Even regular bars (not clubs) are fucking expensive.

RE: Beirut
Best time to go to Beirut is during june/july/august... July and August being the best. Firstly, during those months they get more tourists than the whole population of the country almost. Secondly, during the summer they get 4 months of 0 rain, everyday is 100% sun and around 25-30 degrees. Perfect weather. Thirdly, because of this weather, every restaurant/lounge is majority outdoors and beautiful women EVERYWHERE.

Till this day, other than maybe Miami Beach on a very good day, I have not seen as many gorgeous women as I did in Beirut in July. It's really unbelievable until you witness it yourselves.

p.s for the smokers, you can spark a cigarette literally anywhere you are. In the mall, in the restaurant, in the club... anywhere

BUMP!

Just got back. January during exams was bad timing. I hear the summer is way better. Thanks everyone for the help.
Saying that, I'm happy to report I got the flag (a real stunner). Banana

@metalhaze: Good shout. Hamra is defo the place to pull.

I've prepared a HeartBeirut City ReportHeart for anybody else heading in that direction.

Good to hear you got a flag!

But yes, summer is 100x better. Summers in Beirut are probably the most fun, chill and crazy times you will ever have anywhere in the world. You HAVE to hit it up in the summer, it's a completely different experience.

Looks like Miami style see and be seen ,check out the fake tits on my girlfriend and while you're at it check out my Rolex type club scene.

Some nice looking women no doubt, but I'm guessing it's princess behaviour all the way.

Anyone got first hand experience?

Yeah. I broke down Beirut in one of my early posts: /thread-1964-p...#pid124535

It's definitely my favorite city in the Middle East, hands down. Gorgeous women.

It looks like having hair on you head might be a major advantage in Beirut.

I'm guessing the Lebanese women are pretty conservative? no ONS?
