I enjoy AMs posts here and always imagined a dude well into his 30s. I just came across the fact he is 20.

I feel it is mind blowing enough that a thread needed to be made.
The maturity of his posts is next level.

Even 25 would surprise me.

But 20?!?!

AG what accounts for the maturity beyond your years?

I think its cause he's black and in an Ivy League school mixing urban thug street smarts with upper crust book smarts.

I don't think I've done anything to earn a thread, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Congratulations, AM! I am rather surprised too, I must confess. You're one of the members whose posts I especially enjoy and respect here. One sort of unconsciously associates this with a person who has more mileage on the road of life.

I hope you will grant yourself the opportunity to embrace the wide world out there, now and in the future. I'd love to read your accounts about comparing women and cultures, learning half a dozen more languages, gaining wisdom and using your wit and intelligence to convey what you've seen along the way.

It took me 40+ countries, many years, a lot of debauchery and an endless list of mistakes to get to the point where I am now. From what I've seen here, you're IMO the kind of person who could take the fast track and bring back the laurels and the golden fleece in record time.

I too was stunned when I found out AM's age. But as somebody old enough be AM's father, I will say this: for the truly enlightened, age is just a biological number.
