First of all I don't believe that this is a real couple. Reality shows are scripted at least in part.

Why would a decent looking, slim, fairly alpha looking dude settle for that?

The only reason to make the woman fat and the guy handsome is to sell the idea of the meet-prince-charming-live-happily-ever-after fantasy to their audience?

The sheer enormity of this chick is outrageous. And all of her girls are cows too! When they were running towards her, there were probably impact tremors like in "Jurassic Park." But this is where he REALLY fucked up. He made the proposal/wedding the highlight of their whole relationship. He has nothing to build towards. He shot his whole wad. It's ALL downhill from there. Guys that hire planes to drag a banner across the sky. Guys that have proposals put up on scoreboards at the game. All of them are fuck-ups. Every birthday and anniversary, she'll be wondering what he has planned. If it isn't something REALLY nice, she'll be disappointed. And I've NEVER been crazy about the whole "down on one knee" thing guys do to propose. Maybe it's practice for the position you'll be in for the whole time you're with her. Unless this guy is a certified chubby-chaser, he's in for a world of hurt. What happens to her after a kid or two, if the's already this size?

Yeah I agree. I always felt marriage should be done after you've been together for a long time and have nothing else better to do. Like ...fuck it we may as well get married.

He definitely made this proposal way too epic. Like he had something to prove or he was insecure about her saying no.

If I ever find someone worthy of marriage I'll ask a little more low key in an intimate setting. Probably alone on vacation somewhere. Drop the bomb on day 1 or 2 and enjoy no holds barred sex the rest of the week.

Honestly,man,I don't think there's big enough audience.I also think you started your show the wrong way and should've instead try to keep the costs as low as you possibly could and try every single way to expose it to as many people as you can.(Example:Buy some costco equipment and if all goes to hell,return it in 3 months and lose nothing and get some friend to shoot instead of a pro team).There are plenty of free opportunities to do so nowadays.And the content is way more important than whether you're camera is 720 pixels or 1080.
If something is cool,sooner or later it's traffic will skyrocket and people themselves will start to get excited about it and send it to their friends.If you see some popular channel,some of their videos have 5 million views,while others have 100k.That's not a coincidence.And then you can go to Howie and tell him,"Hey,dude,there's 1mil people watching every episode I've made on youtube."TV contract ensues.
Maybe there are more overweight women in the US who prefer to watch fatties getting married than wanna be playas and players who would watch guys hitting on girls in the other end of the world.

I didn't like the marriage proposal,with all the dancing and singing,it reminded me of the movie with Rob Schneider in jail,where he made all the prisoners dance...quite gay.But I don't think it's wise when you marry a woman,to marry only for the pussy.It doesn't have enough value...so maybe the fatty is a great person.

I agree with most of what you wrote. However, think about this for a sec: when you are in a foreign country, you do not speak the language, and are unknown, it's very rare you'll have "friends" to do things for you for free. trust me, I was thinking just like you are.

You only have "friends" to help you do things because they are getting something out of it, like $$$. In Medellin, I have somewhat of a social circle that I try to maintain, but lets be honest, I only spend 3-4 months per year in the country at most, and even still that required $$$ to get things "done" - especially film permits and other bullshit obstacles. Otherwise you'll quickly learn that all of your "friends" promise to help you in every way, and they procrastinate, are too busy or flake on you 90% of the time - that's the way the world turns hombre.

So, I do agree with you in many ways, I have to find a way to do this in a more cost effective way with all the variables I described above.

I'm keeping the cameras as I wanted one for a log time anyway, and this was just an excuse/project I needed to get one as I am not tight on cash-flow, but I'm not out to throw away money either

You mentioned having knowledge on plenty of free opportunities to get things done, that's awesome! If you have cool ideas, by all means I am open to listening to them...so PM me.
