I would suggest you to read the "A song of Fire and Ice" saga by George R.R. Martin.
The Game of Thrones book are about the struggle for power in a fantasy world called Westeros, that is for many aspect similar to the European middle age.
Reading these books, apart from it's fictionary value, helps you to understand how people can be manipulative, shady and ambitious also in our world.
I recommend it, if you have enough time to read these long books.

Self Therapy by Jay Earley

-Not for the 'doing therapy', but for the understanding of the human Psyche. The model of personality "Parts", how they blend in and take over, the ideas of Protectors and Exiles, the larger Self and qualities of Self, and the internal conflicts that can get set up between your "Parts" is just SO BANG ON for understanding yourself and other people.

It's literally the most on-point model of human psychology I've come across, it seems capable of explaining so much - from peoples' complex behaviour, how people really change, to how things like spirituality and emotional problems all tie together.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is the foundation though (with the basic premise that everything is first created inside one's head - much like solipsism lol), Maximum Achievement by Brian Tracy is a good practical add-on to it.

On business:
$100 Start-up;
Lean Start-up;
Start-up Owner's Manual;
Harvard Business Review blog - amazing source of leading management techniques & innovation;
Seth Godin's blog and books;
Peter Drucker is the creator of modern management theory, if you wanna go back to basics, always good; also would suggest Michael Porter;
Funky Business by Swedish guys with tough surnames.

On body language I will check out Navarro, also read Allan & Barbara Pease - simple, but solid.

The Death of Ivan Ilyich. You can go read it right here. Tolstoy wrote it. It's about a man who does all the things society tells us we're supposed to do: gets a good education, a solid job, a wife and family. He's a respected and well-loved judge with a good amount of money.

Then he suffers a fall and a slow, agonizing death, and in his last hours he questions whether he really lead a "good" life or not. I won't spoil too much, because it's short enough that you can read it over lunch and you really should.

It's the original MGTOW text, and it changed my life. It made me realize that just because getting married and having 2.7 kids is what everybody else is doing, doesn't mean it's what I have to do or what's best for me.

Im about half way through The 48 laws of power and its great. I read the Art of Seduction by robert greene first and I love that book! it really gets you to think outside the box in some aspects. The one thing that I wish robert greene could of done is relate all the material in both those books to modern day real life.

His books all give ancient stories which are cool but its doesnt exactly translate to your life today so its hard to use them as a guide sometimes. He does mention JFK and how he seduced the mass to win the presidency but that was about as modern as it got but overall they are both great books.
