I met a girl online on facebook, and then we met at a bar at a meeting for people who share the same interests where there were loads of people. When we met she gave off all of these great signals, and eventually I had to leave. Fast forward half a week, after chatting well online, I get her to agree to come out with me. So we are chatting online not even an hour ago, and then she says......"meet us" at the bar. Yep, she wanted to bring her friends.

I know the deal with chick friends on a date, they are there to cock block. I made my excuses and said I would meet her again on Thursday at the next meet up, and she said ok, she will see me on Thursday.

I'm assuming either one of two things happened. She wanted to bring her friends along to let me know she has no interest in me, or she wanted to bring them to feel safer.

I think there's a good chance I fucked this up totally and will never see her again because of it, but if that's the case, so be it. What should I have done, and what should I do in the future over this girl? Can i still save this one?

No girl that has already met you personally will ever want to purposely bring friends to a date with a guy she wants to fuck - ever!!!

So, man up and tell her that your intent is to be alone with her to get to "know her better" and her friends can come another time. If she rejects your offer, she's not sexually interested in you....move on.

Thanks, that's what I'll do. I'm going to the next meet up on Thursday anyway, even if she isn't there, if she wants to talk to me she can. I'll let her know then I want to get her alone, and if she says no, that's it. Done.

Literally had this exact same thing happen to me about 6 months ago.

The line I used, almost verbatim was:

"Oh, you're bringing friends, I'm sorry I thought this was a date not a social party night"

She was into me and apologized up and down. One of the guys she invited ended up showing anyways, but he was a cool dude and I Think I actually gained some leverage because him and I hit it off. I took her home that night.

I just re-read the post and she said meet us at the bar. That is not a date. It's an invite to hang where she's going to be anyway and booze = win.

I cancelled this "date" with the girl when i found out she wanted to bring friends, and we spoke to each other at the meeting I was going to anyway for a while with others. Fast forward to today, and she tells me she has a boyfriend, but I can meet her anyway just for helping each other with our languages.

I'm assuming she's lying about the boyfriend, and she has rejected me. It's really odd, because she gave me quite a few signals. Responding with enthusiasm, giving me her number, quickly giving my her email when i asked for her, etc etc, but then this.

I just sent her a reply saying that I never had any interest in her like that anyway, and she should bring her friends if we meet up (I'll make another excuse up to not go) but I'll probably see her on Thursday at the next meeting, and if she brings her hot as fuck friend with her, I'll give her the attention instead.
