RE: Stages of Game
I think that following the general rules of the game might be more important than trusting outlier moments. For example, last night I went out with this girl, but I was nervously talking too much and leaking a lot of bad game (like letting her frame a lot). She put on a fake smile, but I knew that inside it was as if I was farting in her face. Yet, she still let me bring her back to my house.
I don't know why she did, but we didn't fuck (we did other PG stuff). Obvs, I need to get the inner shit worked out, but maybe it's better to not trust her anomalous "being into me" ? My gut is telling me that I fucked up pretty bad, even though I'm pretty sure she'd meet with me again. Trust game rules or the girl's seemingly positive reaction to my bad game?
As far as stages go, my game is lopsided. The two girls that I've brought back to my house in the last couple of days both verbally expressed "how did I end up here?" I was able to bang one of them, but I'm pretty sure that if the game were better, they wouldn't be saying that. Anyone else have these kinds of experiences?

RE: Stages of Game
I think you're right in that a lot of it is internal, and just by the language you're using in your post it sounds like you're still treating game as a cognitive function. You're thinking about it, which is inherently bad for your cause. I dont know exactly when it happened for me, but now it just IS I meet a girl and start talking and things just start happening. Now plenty of times I still think, after the interaction regardless of how it went, 'man I should've said *blank* instead, but I dont dwell on it.
Just keep at it, and keep improving yourself, either through diet, exercise, education, or profession, the better you feel about yourself the better you'll do, with women and life.

Stage 5: Things have somewhat turned around, I feel I'm on the cusp of doing big things.
I have a lot of stuff going for me at the moment but that's more of extracurricular than with women. But, the women will come.
A lot of failure but just enough success at the right time to keep me in the game. I think aside from the occasional break of a dry spell, the best part has been the opportunities and all the cool stuff I am getting to do now that are a direct result of the effort I have put in the past year. I'm about to turn 21, so I expect to see a spike in my bangline shortly.
Nice.
I feel like my experience is similar to yours:
1. Learn fundamentals, fail.
2. Internalize fundamentals, get laid. Get complacent.
3. Think you're internalized fundamentals for the long-term, but you really haven't, fail.
4. Regain your initial hunger after a drought of pussy and series of failures.
5. Learn from past mistakes, take control of yourself...?
If I don't get laid this week then I'm gonna need to switch my strategy up completely.
