So, there you are, grinding with a chick at the club and making out heavy. You're having fun but it's getting close to last call and you haven't had a chance to properly chat this girl up and make some sort of a connection with her, other than your tongue in her mouth. Instead of figuring out how to get her somewhere quiet where you can talk, you figure fuck it, I'm just going to go with shock and awe. You tell her "I want to take you home with me tonight", with a straight face that lets her know you mean it and you're not joking around. She takes a step back, goes into slight shock but doesn't run away and you can tell respects that approach.

Then she starts making up reasons for why she can't "come home with you tonight". Most of which sound lame and don't really sound like absolute deal breakers to you. She then says to get her number as thats the best she's going to be able to do that night. You reluctantly agree because deep down you know that if the bang doesn't happen tonight then theres a big possibility of it never happening. But, she seems like she's genuinely attracted to you and gives you her number in a way where you know it's not a fake and that she's open to hearing from you again.

So how do you guys play it from here?

a) say fuck it and consider it a lost cause
b) make a half-hearted attempt to reach out with funny/witty texts
c) make a genuine effort at connecting with her by calling and running phone game
d) none of the above

Hopefully you didn't call when she gave you the number to confirm, she doesn't have your number and is left wondering for 2 or 3 days weather you contact her.

Then just message the standard "Hey (girls name) its Vaquero. How are you?"

She's say "I'm good! How are you?"

"Good good, do you want to go for drinks on x night?"

And then close on the date

i would called her then and there to make sure she saved my number. maybe i'd send typical text "had fun. see you soon" after the party. but maybe

next day i'd text her "damn it's hard to focus after crazy party like that i'm fighting wish me luck". something casual/benign. a random thought or statement. i don't like to ask questions or going for the kill right away. it's like a bait to see how responsive she is. after all she may not even remember me. often times she will respond with something about her day which can lead to setting up the meeting very fast

if not..

3rd text is only about meeting like "You! Let's have fun tomorrow". i keep it non specific to eliminate any complications and give more space. this way we have bigger chance to come up with details later.

This, although you could run a bit more witty text game before asking her out seeing as you will have lost the momentum of the night you met.

Thanks for the responses guys! I went with the funny/witty text route. She was responsive at first and didn't try to play dumb with me. But, as I had suspected, she turned out to be flakey. Im guessing because the connection wasn't there. There was one text she sent me where she said something like "WOW, just got off the longest phone convo since jr. high! 1:34 long!" Which was pretty random and led me to believe thats what she wanted from me. A long ass phone convo where we "got to know each other better". Thanks but no thanks, I prefer to do that type of shit in person.

dont get stuck on it, she testing you if your needy.

if you show signs your not she will go out with you.

Keep texts logistical, you don't know how wit can be interpreted over text. There's a good section on text messaging in the new version of bang.
