Hey guys,

I'm heading down to Hawaii for the winter, but trying to decide which area will best in terms of local girls, surf (for beginners), affordability and weather.

Currently looking at Hilo since it has big city amenities, not too touristy (I think) and rent seems to be reasonable. Is this a good place to settle down for 3-6 months? Or other part of the island much better?
