Silva makes no sense, even if it might be a good show. Why not Gustafsson, Texeira or Johnson? A belt fight would've saved the 200 gala, to have Lesnar-Hunt headline is the anti-climax of the century.

Gustafsson asked, Ilir Latifi asked. They're in his weight division and have currently been training. I get that Silva by name alone draw crowds, but it would have been better entertainment (and money for the fighters) with a belt fight. And like Cr33pin reported, Silva's recently had gallbladder surgery...

I'm just a bit dejected that UFC 200 lost its crowning fight. Still a great card tomorrow.

Yeah, I heard the Gustafsson call out. I'm not sure DC would want that on short notice. Gustaffson dropped him last time.

Anderson is probably the biggest pay day, plus I would imagine DC thinks he has his number. That said, Anderson is dangerous, and on short notice he could shock a few people. He's a pretty unorthodox guy...

Much respect to Anderson Silva. A 41 year old dude, coming off a gall bladder surgery, steps in against the LHW champion, giving up 30lb's, with only 2 days notice and still goes all three rounds without taking much damage at all.
