I think the guys who think it's creepy (aside from mixx) haven't had it done to them. Though usually in my case it's a half-whispered "hey" after catching each others' gaze.

Creepiest thing a girl has ever told me came from the mouth of this rockabilly chick I picked up. Just before we were about to have sex she started telling me about how she nursed ex boyfriend through terminal cancer. The way that she told me indicated that I must have looked or reminded her of him.

Afterward she kept staring at me while I was dozing and would say things like "you know I really like you".

Almost felt bad for not calling that one back.
