Playing to win
How far would you go to close the deal? would you lie about your age your profession or would you even make up stories to seal the deal?

I feel that the lifestyle that we choose, that moral (when it comes to girl) is pretty much out the window most of the time. Where do you draw the line between something a bit underhanded like telling the girl you live in her country when you're leaving the next day or telling the girl you owned a modeling agency and you'll make her a star.

Whether you lie a little or a lot, it makes no difference. I'd say be a man about it and lie till you don't even remember your own name anymore. I don't advocate being a bad person, I think you should help people who needs help but in this game, I'm playing to win.

RE: Playing to win
I used to lie quite a bit as a means of increasing status/desirability in the early stages (esp. rapport/comfort/up to close). But if you are an attractive man, status plays will actually work against you and cause women to be intimidated. Also, lying is absolute anathema to any potential for a relationship with the women you're meeting. You are a man, you will slip, and they will lose a great deal of respect for you when they find out (at minimum).

that shit doesn't sound like playing to win at all to me. that is more of "i'm trying to look cool" thing.

playing to win.. is going hard, cutting through the bullshit and expressing your interest from the get go. just by that girls know that you have no inhibitions and you are 'dangerous' guy who has what it takes to get her. you're the "real deal" guy. this is huge for screening and it saves soooo much time.

and it's best to SUBCOMMUNICATE all of that. on verbal level it's just flirt.

so it's like:
- you go hard (because of man-woman relation)
- it hooks (because of buyer-seller dynamic)
- you focus on receptive girl(s)
- you lead

RE: Playing to win
I agree but why not just be both? I wrote about lie to not even remember your own name anymore was just a joke actually. It's ridiculous if I actually believed that. Lying will get you into trouble more than it's worth sometimes but if you can get away with it then do it.

There are times and circumstances where no matter how "real" you are, logistics will stand in the way. At that moment in time, you have to be prepared to lie. If you already lied about what you're doing in her country, you may as well do whatever it takes to get the job done. Has nothing to do about looking cool at all. In fact it is the opposite of cool since you won't be as smooth because trying to remember how many lies you gotta keep up with.

I agree with this. Definitely don't lie too much if you're looking for a girlfriend.
