Hey Roosh,

Great book - Day Bang. I am slowly reading it everyday. In the start you talked about different close rates. Just a general question: How many women do you approach before you bang one in the U.S. I just want an estimate as extra motivation to get off my computer and actually go out and do these approaches. I know it's going to be different for every person but I'd just like to know so that I have some sort of target to achieve.

Honestly I don't keep numbers, and it depends on a lot of factors, but for you I think 1 out of 50 is a good first target. If you do 10 approaches a week, that means every 5 weeks you should come close to getting a new bang. I'm just pulling that out of my ass though. What's more important is that you improve over time.

When I was under 35, I wasn't picky, usually waited for some cues and seemed to get about 1/10 in bed. Small sample though, I was a wimp.

I've almost always waited for some obvious cue, hitting on a girl who isn't even making eye contact seems very low-return for me.

It broke down like:

5/10 wouldn't give me their number
3/10 never answered/never called back
1 talked to me but made excuses, or met and wouldn't make out.
1 put out.
