I am from an elite social circle. I went to one of the best law schools in the world, have a solid academic record, have run my own companies, worked at top tier corporations and NGOs and in national political offices. My family has pretty incredible connections as well, and lots of high achievers. Locally I have insane connections for pretty much anything you could need.

What the average western man considers top tier women is philosophically and spiritually repellant to me. At present western societies do not help to breed the kind of women top tier men choose to raise their kids. Most of the senior lawyers at my firm ogle the new crop of paralegals like Victoria secret models. Some of them may get these elite wife material women - but the real winners realise that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze when you can get just as good at a 50-70% discount in Moscow, st Pete, Minsk, Kiev or the Baltic’s. What’s more is the hot EE girls don’t take their looks for granted. All my hottest eastern girls know that it simply isn’t enough to be hot and/or smart. They need to be sweet, nurturing and sensual as well and play it up in a way that stirs my loins powerfully.

Moreover some men just prefer EE girls. There’s a certain feel with Slavic girls for me that I can’t get with Anglos, or even scandinavians (who I think are physically more my thing), it’s cultural and spiritual and my heroin.

Returning to the topic I do agree with the general sentiment that shitty second tier or horror third tier EE is not the place for a ‘winner’ to leverage the benefits of geo-hacking his SMV payoff. That said I see no reason that a high caliber man can’t find some cool position, or at least justify an LOA in EE to enjoy the insanity and novelty of FSU, and the women that come with it.

The answer to the OP is thus the following.

If you were a top tier man where would you hang out in these places, or what would you do?

I’ve met lots of local up and coming tech developers and young professionals chomping at the bit for EU work xp. These are great young contacts and frequent the equivalent high end scene for their areas, and will relish someone motivated with expat knowledge and or contacts.

For expats I’d look to local NGO workers and embassy staff. These will be higher caliber people that will be going places in the future and keep you on your toes intellectually.

If I have found these people repeatedly in backwaters like Tallin, Riga and Vilnius; or shitholes like Kaliningrad, Dushanbe it cant be that hard for someone in equivalent cities.

If I ask a person what they do, and their response is "digital nomad," it gives me a bit of a chuckle.

For that reason, I try not to judge these people harshly, but it's also important to acknowledge the cognitive dissonance often at play.

I'm not incredibly impressed with most self-proclaimed digital nomads either, but at least they had the courage to pull the trigger to try and live the life they want.

Can't say that about most career types back home.

Yes, of course there's a shitload of benefits to living abroad...from financial, to better girls, healthier food, etc. The problem I find is that virtually nobody I meet exploits these opportunities to become better.

Who else has this problem? I find it really hard to surround myself with winners while traveling abroad in EE.

Exotic pussy was a factor for me traveling, but I never traveled just because of it. I still haven't done say Manilla or Jakarta as it's hard to justify making a trip that would be entirely about getting notches.

Also as I've gotten older frequent traveling has become less appealing. The stimulus/excitement of it wears off. And I want to focus on building local connections & networks which you simply can't do if you're hopping around every few months.

Surprisingly, he later traveled to China to meet a 30-something woman who turned out to be for real and they married and had a child. I didn't have the heart to tell him what it likely meant that she ran a "hair salon" in China, but whatever. He has the family he was hoping for and is ecstatic for now. I can't think of any obvious reason that he couldn't have found someone to settle down with here unless there's something bizarre about his situation that I never knew.
