I don't agree with that at all. Brasil is always my first recommendation for people to experience going to South America.

In Argentina and Uruguay the RoI is significantly lower than Brasil because the women are far less promiscuous. And because the nightlife runs retardedly late, which ruins day time activities.
In Bolivia and Paraguay the RoI is lower than Brasil because the women are ugly as sin. And there is no nice beach lifestyle to be had
In Venezuela the RoI is far lower than Brasil because its a failed state

And they're just the countries I've been to. Of the others, Peru and Ecuador are also not noted for their quality of women. And Colombia isn't known for its safety - for all its crime Brasil isn't yet full of scopolamining of gringos yet for example. That only leaves.... Chile? Which is admittedly a surprisingly well functioning state, but you've ruled out it out already.

You've listed the downsides of Brasil and said "any" South American country is better. But haven't listed a single one, or given reasons why. Which exact South American countries would you recommend over Brasil?

Argentina, Peru and Colombia are all good examples. Daygame was ridiculously easy for me in Argentina. In Bs As I banged three chicks during my first two nights out. And I was sound asleep before 3 AM.

I didn't say "No scopolamine in Brazil". I said Brasil's problem with it doesn't compare to Colombias. Scopolamine is far, far less common in Brasil than Colombia. By an order of magnitude. I've never once heard of it being used on someone, read any reports of it by users here, or seen any media coverage of it. This in direct contrast to Colombia where I've personally known people scopolamined, there have been multiple reports here of people who've been scopolamined, and there are constant police/media reports on the issue. There are an estimated 50,000 cases of its use in crime alone every year in Colombia - its a much, much bigger problem there, especially given the population disparity.

If you were home in bed, with 3 different girls in 2 nights out, before 3am in Buenos Aires then your nightlife experience was completely out of the ordinary. Its a notoriously difficult country to have one night stands in, probably one of the most difficult in the world I've experienced. And thats the general forum consensus, too. I would wager the vast, vast majority of people who've been to both Brasil and Argentina would recommend Brasil higher for ease of getting laid.

I'm calling you out slightly here because saying flat out "Brasil isn't worth visiting" and "Brasil is the worst country to visit in South America" are both fairly ridiculous statements to make. One line justifications of "Peruvian food is good" aren't really much of a defense of such hyperbolic statements.

To be clear, I think Brasil does have shitloads of problems. Crime, extreme income inequality, low intelligence levels, traffic, general bureaucratic disorganization... there are plenty to list. But the friendliness of its people, the beach lifestyle on the coast, the relative easiness of getting laid, the attractiveness of the girls (in the South in particular), the good food, the weather, and plenty of other reasons mean I think its extremely disingenuous to say its just flat out not worth visiting. Especially when most of the rest of South America suffers from the exact same problems or worse - but with uglier women and worse weather, to boot.

This is extremely dependent on the individual and the part of Brazil they're goin to. Which "data points" exactly are you referring to? According to police statistics scopolamine is a much bigger problem in Colombia. Even if we use your own stated preference for homicide rate, Colombia is also much more unsafe than the more commonly visited tourist parts of Brasil. In 2017 Bogota had a homicide rate of 14 per 100,000 people, Medellin 23, and Cali 51. Sao Paulo's is just 6.1, Florianopolis 15 and Rio 21.

Most posters on this forum aren't traveling to a country exclusively to rack up numbers, otherwise every thread here would be about banging hordes of mediocre Filipinas in Manila. The other qualities that make up a country are always relevant to someone planning a trip. Even just on a purely banging attractive girls note though, if you'd prefer, you said there was "no reason to visit Brasil". And that "literally every country in South America was better". There are plenty of members who have visited Rio for a few weeks or a month and disagree about the safety issue. Or maybe their constitution is different from mine.

There are other members who agree with me on the state of Brazil. The articles on ROK about Rio and Curitiba are spot on, in my opinion.

About the tranquil state of Rio, there was a huge rainstorm last week that lasted for days and was a emergency situation. People died, houses flooded or became damaged. If I would have to guess why it has been quiet is because the city is still recovering from that. But it is a guess.

I've spent many months in Rio and I think asdfk has a lot of valid points...He is indeed right that its exaggerated how hard Argentina is, if you are not doing well there you just have to learn how to adjust to the enviroment.

Even though I've done very well in Brazil myself, I got to admit that its rare that you see a foreigner/gringo with a stunner. Compared to pretty much any other latin american country where foreigners have access to the best looking girls always and you constantly see gringos with hot girls (Colombia/Peru especially).

Makes me wonder what kind of girls everyone chases if they claim it is such a paradise.

The lower classes ofcourse applaud enthusiastically if someone with wealth expresses interest in their offspring.

you're right on about Manaus as well, i've never met girls so conscious about their skin color/social status and being seen with someone similar..I've felt it in places like Guadalajara before but wow, this shit is on another level here!
