I noticed that there are a lot of european girls working as housekeepers in hotels in the USA and Europe. So instead of getting ESL jobs, is it just as easy for men to get hotel jobs on short term visas either doing housecleaning, or other type of hotel jobs?

I know the pay is terrible, but short-term summer/vacation jobs are in such short supply, it would be tolerable to work as a housekeeper in a tropical climate. Are there any downsides to working as a housecleaner or other type of hotel job? Do they require a visa or is a 6 month travel visa sufficient for short-term jobs?

Think outside the box. There's a particular DHV field in that industry that you should shoot for.

I worked in that exact field in my youth.

RE visas: it depends on your nationality.

Is it bartending?
What if someone doesn't have any experience, will they teach
someone how to bartend and make mixed drinks?
I know its not that difficult but there are some tricky drinks out there.
I suppose waitering is another option at a hotel restaurant.
