As I wrote that post, I started to get up to take a shower, and I had a little chuckle. I'm about to get ready to hit up a wine bar and meet this sexy asian thot off of hinge tonight haha. Kids be damned, that shit can wait!

If you dont know your ideal lifestyle then you have to try many different things to see what "fits"

Usually a few things will resonate and you can pick and choose from there

It is a continuous process. I love my life in my beach town but there are always things to refine

Its like clothes or girls, you keep trying new things to see what sticks.

The worst thing to do is stay in your comfortable rut dreaming about what you may do one day.

There is no point in having a full time job working for someone else if you don't have a family. I quit my job the day after I dumped my fiance and moved out of the U.S. a month later. Start a business before you quit, then pull the trigger.

This is true. I just can't picture what else I could be doing at the moment. Maybe if I could get US citizenship I would be okay, I think that may be my best option. Canada's economy is sinking and has been for a long time.

I agree. If I am not married in the next few years I probably never will be, so that will eliminate any lingering doubts about going full nomad lifestyle. I am kinda looking forward to it, it is just a mental barrier in my head at the moment.

Don'y rule it out totally, go nomad and you will meet more women and realize there are more possibilities than you have ever thought. Much better than sitting in your hometown/state/country. Odds are (in my opinion) you meet better wife material in the right country if that's your goal.

My advice - take some time to figure it out, but do as little work as you can now. Use the free time doing what you enjoy. I was doing something I enjoyed somewhat but got fired for a bullshit reason. Now I am working a “McJob” in my field (law). I’m down to about 25 hours a week currently and my boss does not care so long as the cases get done. In the interim, it’s back to the gym, martial arts and spending time at home with the family. Hell, I even get to volunteer at the local fire department and play hero from time to time.
