Nothing that I have confirmed. There have been many catfish attempts, mostly via Instagram. It's easy to weed them out (just suggest a video chat).

I also remember reading an article saying a police force somewhere in London has stopped responding to theft reports. Meaning if you ran a convenience store or a shop in that area then everyone can shoplift and rob you out in the open without impunity (and if you happen to have a gun / crossbow and shoot them then you're the one going to jail, obviously).
