Engaging with couple armed offenders (whether they have knife or big ass machete ) is no joke unless you have couple years of MMA or Military experience, even if you succeed by hurting those low life scums then the law will haunt your ass for years (bad as it seems) in many countries.

In a Car you should keep a Wasp spray (hits 3 meters away, so you don't have to be close to scums n its legal to carry as compared to pepper spray which illegal in many countries).

On a Personal carry, you can have a small tic tac chewing gum box filled with some spice which is sufficient enough to light up your surroundings lol, trust me low life cant stand that stuff, even if you breathe that stuff, its not pleasant.

Last year i was in Sydney for a holiday and some aboriginal dudes said something like lets beat this guy up, i was kind off in a chill mood that time so one of em said something like nah mate, anyway i had the gum box with some mix chili stuff so they wouldn't have gone far if they had started to mess around

Also relevant to this thread, anyone who is working as a bouncer with the threat of being stabbed or shot should always have a trauma kit nearby. I would go as far as to say anyone going to a country with a greater threat of danger should have one on them.

When it comes to stabbing or slashing, the biggest threat factor that can result in death is loss of blood. A lot of people don't know but the chances of dying from knife wounds is greater than that of gun shot wounds.

Bouncers should keep tourniquets and chest seals on them just in case. It is likely that this man's life could have been saved had he had these items on him with proper training.

It is starting to become standard for LEOs to carry trauma kits on them now with the most important thing being a tourniquet.

Another reason why I like having a big umbrella (like the one I posted earlier in the thread) on me is that the length can be used to keep an attacker at distance. Someone comes at you, poke them hard in the eye with the sharp point.

Divorce, single motherhood/fatherless kids are largely consequences of wealth and prosperity. I don't think I need to explain this. Same with the mental health/pharma industry.

There's no disputing there are problems in the west, but to compare them to the kinds of savagery we see among third world cultures and their transplants is disingenuous at best.

The West is not better. It's better at some things and worse at others. However, since it puts its women to work outside the home, it achieves a higher GDP, so it gets to "make the maps"/control the data flow which influence people like you into thinking the West is better. At the same time this happens, many people reading this in the West will never meet their father, and when they come home, they'll look at their mother and wonder why she looks like a pale elephant who has trouble breathing and hasn't seen the sun or gone for a walk in ages. She also has a small plastic tray divided into the days in a month and takes a different pill for every day.

In any case, if the West was better, women would want to bring children into their world, to share it with them, but this is not the case. Instead, women in the west have decided the world they live in isn't worth bringing children into. Look at people's actions, not their words. If westerners love western life, why are they aborting the future? Because the maps the West promotes don't tell the whole story, they tell the story the map-makers want to tell.

The West is a corporate paradise, and corporations enslave your mind into thinking exactly what you're thinking right now, that the West is best. Meanwhile we lock our old people in big buildings and forget about them, while other cultures take their old people to the beaches and malls with them for walks, having the young ones hold their arms and hands to stabilize them.

But in order to keep the game going, the corporations need people from all over the world to be convinced to come to the West, to risk everything in the belief that the West is better. How can they do that, how can they convince the world? Easy, put the women to work, damn the consequences in order to increase the GDP, and with the extra GDP, control the information output, in other words, become the map-makers. Then you can have guys like you extolling the virtues of the West while your women are aborting your children.

I'm not saying the non-Western parts of the world are better. I'm saying different cultures have their own strengths and weaknesses, and on top of that, those strengths and weaknesses change over time. In other words, this area isn't a dichotomy of good and not good, instead, it's multivariate. I don't know if you're multilingual and multicultural and have lived abroad, but if you haven't, try learning new languages and absorbing new cultures and living abroad, you might find that after those experiences, you see the West in a more balanced light.

1)The event was basically a themed brothel trying to masquerade as a party. Most of the women were whores.

Here most people who carry knives have folders not fixed blades, so it's more slash than stab.
The problem is that with adrenaline you can slash quite some time before the guy notices it, unless it's in invalidating spots.
During that time the guy continues kicking your ass or worse.
But yes, after a couple of minutes chances are he'll die from the bleeding.
The problem is that to you in a fight a couple of minutes is basically eternity.

That's what I meant by low stopping power, but dramatic consequences afterwards.
Ideally you would want the opposite, something where one hit stops the guy right away, but with no subsequent injuries.
