i haven't have big friendship with english or americans more good strong acquaintance relationship,but in general between americans and french natives is not bad,i have met a few americans living in paris like a guy who draw in the streets from baton rouge new orleans,i know a french canadian who lives now in the south of france making and selling wines, i have met a girl,teacher, from winnipeg,i have met probably more canadians than americans,if you want the americans in paris are not really in the alternative music/arts scene movement more on poshy fashion creation process like japaneses.
