Am I using too much humor?
So one thing I can do consistently during an approach whether it be during day or night game is make a girl laugh, frequently and pretty hard too sometimes. I know humor is a great tool for attraction, but the problem is I'm still not getting a ton of results. It could be other factors but I'm wondering if I'm using too much humor. Is there a rule of thumb on how often I should make her laugh/how hard it should be?

I'd describe my humor as witty and dry. I know Roosh describes clown game as pretty important and I'm trying to re-calibrate some game techniques after reading his new book.

I'd still call myself a newbie so any sort of advice you guys got I'd appreciate.

It's a balancing act. You don't want to be stiff, dull, and lifeless when approaching women at night.

Dropping a witty or humorous comment here and there can be disarming. But there's a fine-line. Act too silly and playful and you risk looking like a "dancing monkey".

A sexual, masucline and flirty frame with a pinch of banter seems to be the best combination to employ at the club in my experience.

Humor is a tool for comfort, not attraction. It can also be a defense mechanism to mask weakness or insecurity.

Practice opening strangers without any humor so you know you can do it without it. Start with random people with no sexual connection - random strangers - to build up confidence and get practice.

Being confident IS an attraction trigger. Opening a woman the moment you see her is an attraction trigger.

Do you think women often fantasize about f*cking comedians?

Too much humor is not good. And that comes from a person who loves comedy. But in terms of attraction, it's counter productive. You shouldn't be thinking about how to make her laugh constantly. Humor is a means to show your wit, loosen both of you up and show that you are carefree and don't take her or anything too seriously.

I will also refer you to this clip right here: https://youtu.be/6dcIITitaqY?t=748. It's Roger Alan Currie talking about humor and jokes when attracting a woman. I find it to be pretty spot on for the majority of women.

If it won't matter in 30 years, it doesn't matter now.

I don't run clown game because I want a girl to be guessing what I'm thinking.

If you're trying to make her laugh the whole time you're together, she's going to know that you want to prove your value to her through humor. You are going out of your way to offer up jokes to her to see if she thinks they're good enough for her laughter. She is the one in charge of the interaction.

I don't smile at girls for no reason, like a scared animal does to show that it isn't a threat. Girls have to make me smile or laugh.

If something is funny, it comes up through conversation when I make a comment on something she says instead of a predetermined plan of trying to make her laugh. I steer the conversation, I set the frame and I let her hamster spin the wheel while she is trying to figure out why I'm not showing my cards like most guys.
