Shoring does count towards the notch count because you're not paying her. If you spend money on something small as part of the shore (a bottle of wine etc) that you both benefit from, that doesn't count as paying.

Drugs are something in between, if you buy a small amount of weed or coke etc. to use together while hanging out, that's fair game, but for example if she's a heroin addict and sleeps with you solely because you get her a fix, that wouldn't count. With drugs I'd say it's a notch, as long as it's a reasonable amount that you both use while hanging out, and she doesn't leave your place possessing any of it.

Paying for her cab fare is also ok in my opinion. Think of it like getting an Uber for your girl to travel to/from your place.

So if a guy had sex with 200 prostitutes in his life, but for whatever reason never had a girl for free, he is a virgin going by your logic?
