My initial reply wasn't to shit on the intent of his post, which seemed to be to warn about what he saw happen in the guy's relationship.

I think that you should not obsess daily about how you need to get out and make more money or go to the gym to get big to keep the Chads away from her. Relationships aren't a rat race where you are constantly competing and watching your back to make sure no one is going to swoop in and get your girl.

Having a mindset like that is just going to lead you to always feel like you aren't good enough and your relationship dynamic is going to suffer with you believing that you need to be constantly on your A game to hold down a girl.

Great post. I liken it to how I use to approach my career. I'm not fond of what i do in the least, but over the years I've grown to take pride in this white collar work that doesn't interest me. Even though i don't necessarily enjoy the work I do, Im certainly not stressed and I've grown to understand that despite my ambivalence about it the work i execute is a reflection of me. Why not take pride in it? No woman I deal with knows i take pride in this bullshit. I'm not doing it for more money. I'm doing it because it at its most base form is a direct reflection of me.

Doc review sucks balls and no one went to Law School with dreams of document review but it pays the bills. The dude should strive for more in my opinion, but I am not him.
