I would consider Kitchener-Waterloo. The region has a population of about 535,000 and is an hour and a bit drive to Toronto. While still fairly big the cost of living is cheaper than a major city.

Kitchener has a great tech scene which may be advantageous to your online business. And Waterloo has two universities: Laurier which is full of suburban girls from Toronto and The University of Waterloo which gets a fair amount of girls on exchange from other countries.

It's a great place for a 21 year old in my opinion.

Niagara Falls is cheap too. You're close to the buffalo niagara airport for flights in the USA and abroad. (Compare flights to Miami from Toronto and buffalo and you shall see) Casino is busy and your wknds are packed with Americans and Torontonians partying.

Good idea getting the fuck out of the Prairies, I've been here for 12 years and still don't really like it although there are worse places to live than Edmonton, such as North Battleford, Saskatchewan where I'm headed to in about 3 weeks to work for a few months. I worked in Estevan for 6 months which was also brutal. Actually Calgary is a pretty nice city and basically the only one in the Prairies where I'd recommend living.

Since you're from a small town butt fuck nowhere town, you probably don't have a big city personality and lack style, like me, basically you're probably a down to earth guy who isn't obsessed with status and displays of wealth and doesn't dress like a flaming homosexual. Of course, I could be wrong but the people of Saskatchewan and Manitoba tend to be the most humble, honest, hardworking people I've ever met which doesn't really jive with the big city types who are obsessed with being cool and tend to be phony which again is a huge generalization as I've met some really cool people, especially RVF dudes in cities like Vancouver and Toronto. Anyway, I've spent a bit of time in Vancouver and Toronto recently, more time in Montreal but that was several years ago. All nice cities to visit but I couldn't live in them, especially Vancouver and Toronto, they're just too expensive and a total rat race. Montreal is a lot of fun but I experienced it as someone who speaks fluent French, so YMMV.

I've lived all over Canada and one thing I've learned is that there's quite a bit of regionalism here and if you come from the backwater hinterlands then people in the three big cities will assume you're a retarded hick who fucks his cousins (Prairies) or a drunk illiterate fisherman who also fucks his cousins (Atlantic). Let's face it, places like Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Saint John, New Brunswick really aren't that cool, which is why we leave.

Since you're a young buck, you have an excuse to be a broke ass loser with roommates and throw keg parties and do bong hits every other day, so why not do that and get some young uni aged pussy while you're at it. As such, I recommend some smaller cities with a high student population and female friendly industries like hospital and government work- from the east to the west:

Halifax: 5 or 6 unis, tons of government workers and hospitals. There's lots of young beaver floating around my home city and a strong drinking culture, the incomes are lower but not too low so you can have a good time there and not be considered broke if you make $40-50K. Very friendly people, good seafood, kinda shitty weather though and isolated af.

Quebec: This would require learning French but why not anyway? You're young enough that you probably remember a few phrases from high school, plus French class can be fun, even better when you meet a young sexy Quebecoise who doesn't speak English and you're forced to learn la langue de moliere dans le lit. Lots of students, government workers and its relatively cheap. Did I mention poutine and strippers? Montreal is nearby for weekend trips.

London, ON: Similar demographics to the above two, hospitals and a huge uni. Lots of cheap rentals and students bars where you can get wasted on a Wednesday and no one will judge you for it. Close enough to Toronto that you could visit the big city on a weekend.

Ottawa: Obviously a government town, also a lot of students. Kind of boring since its full of civil servant wankers but you could always cross the bridge to Quebec to get your poutine and French stripper fix. More expensive than the aforementioned cities but still reasonable.

Kelowna: This place is popping all year, it's a pretty big tourist town with monied folk from Vancouver area and Alberta coming here for lake fun in the summer and mountain fun in the winter (I never went skiing there, it's not Whistler or Jasper level good but its decent). It's the smallest of these cities I'm recommending but there's tons of cool outdoor stuff to do year round. Also, I've never seen so many blonds anywhere in my life as I did there, I don't know why. Victoria: Same as the first few, government and uni. Victoria is kind of deceiving because when you first visit it's great, such beautiful landscapes, ocean views, etc. Then you realize that the people are pretty uptight and social circles are pretty clique based. I had more success there in my mid-20s while visiting several times than I did in my mid-30s when I lived there for 6 months, again, YMMV.

Anyway, those are my thoughts for a dude from a small town, the big cities can be tough bro but then again you may like them, I just find that they're harder to build a social circle in as everyone is really busy trying to pay bills, commute to/from work and keeping up with the jonses. Smaller student cities where most of the people have a steady government job tend to be more fun, especially in your early 20s but once you want to make big money and advance your career then it's time to go a big city, or some shit hole town on the Prairies to make oil money, like I did, FML!

There's always the party ski towns like Banff, Jasper and Whistler. Those are all cool places to live and party in.

Well I lived in the countryside/around a small town for most of my life and honestly it made me extremely depressed being constantly isolated. So now I want to live in a place that is more lively. Yeah money won't be to much of an issue. Would the main differentiator between which is better for a person Montreal or Toronto really depend on how much money the person has? I feel like even if you as an individual has money but you live in a high cost city everyone around you would kinda just be in a stressful situation constantly trying to make money. I'll throw a suggestion out of left-field. Your age is possibly working in your favor when it comes to living in Vancouver.

I have seen several people go the student(ish) housing route to live in Vancouver on the cheap. If you are looking to have a good time in the city and keeping your budget in control, it is probably the best way to go. I assume (from your age) that you aren't looking to grab a condo in the Shangri-La (yet).

If you are looking elsewhere, obviously avoid Hastings and anything on that side of the waterfront. I would also avoid the 'burbs or Surrey. That's a fairly boring area to be in. North Vancouver might actually be a better choice at that point, as you will be able to get a nice place for much cheaper than the city-side of the bay.

As for women, what do you like? Montreal has more sexually-open, warmer white girls. There are also (my experience) more brown girls in Montreal (Indian, Pakistani, etc.). Vancouver is called Hongcouver for a reason. If you like Asians, go West young man. Mainlanders, Hongkongers, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese. They are all there. If you like the banana-types, they are all over the place. If you like FOB Asian girls, hit up UBC and SFU.

Yeah one thing that would suck is being in a city were everyone is stressed out over making enough money, I feel like in cities like that you can't really form bonds with people. So I guess Montreal is the best big city since it's the cheapest? Is Montreal better for relationships with people and are people stressed over money and just trying to get by in Montreal or was it much more relaxed with happier people?

One reason I wanted to go to a bigger city is cause I really want a place I can lay some roots down in and potentially live for the rest of my life or a long time. In smaller cities people are just going to live their for a while then leave for more opportunity to bigger cities. But bigger cities is were the opportunity is so I feel more people might stay there. I just don't wana move to a place were most people are going to be leaving after a certain amount of time.

I might consider some of those smaller places though that are kinda university towns if they have a big 18-22 age population and people are more relaxed. Might start with going to Montreal first then checking out some of these smaller towns to see if I would wana live there.

Based on your criteria, I would go to Montreal and start there. Like everyone has said, there's 5 unis there, tons of young people there, best nightlife in Canada. Rent is pretty inexpensive there too so I'd say that it's a good city to start in. I would also definitely take the opportunity to learn French while your there, it will enhance your day to day living tremendously. I've had people's eyes light up with joy when my dumb American ass speaks in French to them. Too many anglos move there and don't learn French which then hinders their overall experience. Only drawback is that you'll end up becoming a fan of their crappy, overrated hockey team but c'est la vie as they say en Francais.

Could Toronto or Vancouver possibly be a better place to find an LTR worthy girl? Everyone talks about how hard girls in Toronto and to a lesser extent Vancouver girls are but then they talk about how easy Montreal girls are and it's like one big orgy in Montreal apparently. Well one part is I'm Canadian and it would just be easier as well as I don't want to deal with US immigration/IRS that much. However I was still kind of interested in some places in the states like different parts of Florida, Los Angeles was thinking maybe NYC to but I feel like people their are kind of soulless since it's such a big city I feel like girls have 0 ability to pair bond and they are all massive sluts. One thing I still kind of want is maybe some kind of relationship so I want an environment that is conductive to that.

Vancouver girls are not hard. Well.. they aren't easy either, but when you consider that the average Vancouver guy is either a feminist indoctrinated cuckboi or fresh off the boat Indian race troll engineer with zero (even negative) game it's not rocket science to learn to tip things in your favor. I only spent 3 days in Toronto and I actually think Tdot is easier to get laid in, because of the better nightlife and more prevalent hook up culture. I don't know anything about Montreal.

As to the LTR worthiness. Oh God I would fucking hate myself if I was looking for a LTR in either of these cities. You are in an extremely nice area and only a few minutes from downtown Vancouver by bus or car.

You could consider a slight variation of this and try to get in to a house-share around Kits Beach. There are a lot of students who rent out 5/6/7/8 bedroom houses in this area and they are often looking for another roommate.

I have seen several people go the student(ish) housing route to live in Vancouver on the cheap. If you are looking to have a good time in the city and keeping your budget in control, it is probably the best way to go. I assume (from your age) that you aren't looking to grab a condo in the Shangri-La (yet).

If you are looking elsewhere, obviously avoid Hastings and anything on that side of the waterfront. I would also avoid the 'burbs or Surrey. That's a fairly boring area to be in. North Vancouver might actually be a better choice at that point, as you will be able to get a nice place for much cheaper than the city-side of the bay.

As for women, what do you like? Montreal has more sexually-open, warmer white girls. There are also (my experience) more brown girls in Montreal (Indian, Pakistani, etc.). Vancouver is called Hongcouver for a reason. If you like Asians, go West young man. Mainlanders, Hongkongers, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese. They are all there. If you like the banana-types, they are all over the place. If you like FOB Asian girls, hit up UBC and SFU.

Yeah I was thinking about living in student kind of housing to be around more people my age but also kind of want my own space. So maybe my own apartment or condo beside some universities. And wait are their really more brown girls in Montreal then Vancouver? I thought Vancouver had one of the highest percentages of brown people in Canada? I like brown girls so if a city had more of them it would kinda be a plus.

Montreal has more black women and more Arab women. There are plenty of brown-skinned women in Vancouver, but they tend to be some flavor of South/Southeast Asian. I haven't seen a noticeable number of Latinas in either city.

Off-campus housing near UBC is going to be some of the most expensive real estate in Vancouver. That's university endowment lands and Point Grey. If you have a chance to stop over in Vancouver, have an Uber drive you through Marine Drive around the campus. You will see what I am talking about. I don't know if you would want to live near SFU. It's a cool area (nature-wise), but SFU has the highest student suicide rate in Canada and I always thought the campus life had something to do with it. The place has a weird vibe and looks like a black site prison from a Schwarzenegger movie.

One more thing to mention is that if you get in to the university social scene at UBC, you can pretty much fall in to your own world there. There are something like 14,000 students that live on campus. There are also something like nine sororities at UBC (it has the largest Greek system in Canada). Plenty of UBC students hit downtown Vancouver on weekends. But, a lot of the "younger" people socialize, drink, party, and screw within the confines of campus.

I'd add that you should also consider proximity to different parts of the world for travel, assuming the future you start to earn some money and can afford to do so. Flying in Canada is not cheap like you said, so it's also a factor to be closer to your region of preference.

Vancouver -> Closer to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, SEA, etc etc if you want to get your yellow fever on
MTL / TO -> Closer to Europe, Russia for the euro babes, a whole of other cool places like North Africa / the Middle East / Central Asia etc.

The East Coast will have slightly cheaper and shorter flights to LatAm, but not by much.

This will potentially save you thousands of dollars in flight costs and hundreds of hrs in-flight time over the years, so choose wisely.

Went to a few places. We chat about our businesses, spouses, relationships and more importantly how you game your relationship so she doesn't feel like she has to put up with you rather than she feels that you're a catch and *she* is the one who should be working hard to get you.

Once you commit, your woman's beauty and looks will keep going down and down, while you, assuming that you're ambitious about your self improvement, will keep climbing up and up with the sky being the limit -- point here is that if you want to pursue a LTR, that's fine, but just realize that your commitment is worth WAY more than hers.

Once in an LTR most guys get relaxed and let go. You can never let go. You can't let go of your grooming, your physique but most important is your frame. If you frame the relationship in the way that you're the man and she's the woman which automatically divides the duties in 2 parts:

Man holds the leash, makes the decisions, if a catastrophic event occurs you better swallow those tears and start working on fixing it because you're the man.
Woman may (or may not but most likely may) say that she is strong and independent, but you know what? They are not.. all she wants to do is to show up, look pretty and get attention from her man, so she can be happy, even so that she can make her man happy.

She's not logic driven like the rest of us, on the contrary she's driven by pure emotion (and that's also exactly why most AFC chumps "if I buy her a drink she'll like me" logic driven thinking doesn't get them anywhere -- but I digress, that's another topic). Overall, all she is is a female human being. She doesn't need to understand every single detail of what you feel, and make sense like the rest of us. She needs to feel. Period. She needs to get excited. She needs affection of a man she looks up to, where she can start imagining a place for herself next to him..

These are very abstract terms I know but at the same time most guys don't seem to realize this.

Especially one guy in particular that Laner and I met tonight. This guy we just met; he got married, had kids, working hard but emotionally neglectful. Then one day wife says "you don't excite me anymore" then proceeded to fuck him over in divorce court. He was asking wtf is that.

I said "she doesn't need your protection, your goodwill, she doesn't need you as a maid or gardener but she needs a man. She needs your excitement and your passion for her. She needs to feel. She needs to feel her face flush in red when she realizes you're such an amazing man that she must have you, and not only that but she must aspire to own you and you should get her passionate enough so that she is willing to crush any other girls that want you; all because she's afraid to lose you even for one second. If you don't give this to her, she'll become dull and boring around you because she'll think you're the same way. Then one day she'll either cheat, or she'll leave you taking your kids and assets; and not only that but she'll hamster out and somehow find a way to blame you for it. There, that's how you lost your marriage."

Guy stared at me and Laner like we came from a different planet. A couple seconds later he said "whatever man I'm killing the single life". Judging by the fact that the nearest girl was 25 ft away and facing away from him, we ignored this statement.

I felt so bad that I wanted to run home, bring Rollo Tomassi's "The Rational Male" from my bookshelf and just donate it to this guy so he could start figuring out what's going on. Laner just smiled and nodded, as he gleamed with joy for that he realized that the male dating pool just went 1 weaker.

In any case, this is the average Vancouver guy you're going against. What if the girls are stuck up? Your average Vancouver competition is the above guy.

If you read this and got what I'm talking about, then you're almost there. Go approach. You're a man and a man makes his own future.

TLDR: Vancouver might not be easy because orbiters inflate their egos. But the average guy has zero game. As long as you can spit decent game and have skin thick enough to realize it’s a numbers game;
you're good.

Yeah I feel like Vancouver might have some of the most feminine men so just being masculine/alpha would put you way ahead of the rest of the guys there. Would Vancouver be one of the best places for a more alpha guy since the girls are kind of starved for that kind of guy?

Yeah that guy was a trip. Didn't he even say he fucks dudes now too? Haha, I think thats why we met him, he was gonna hit on me. Confused as fuck that one. Good looking guy, dressed well - a casual style that some girls dig - but a mess.

Vancouver is a terrible city for the outliers. TheThing and started out having a couple cocktails at a little lounge and when some of the other guys left, we turned it up a bit and ended up at a bar I had never been to. But within 5 minutes at the place, I ran into 5 people that I know. Guys coming up to me that I don't remember, but they remember me. Looking around the bar, I only saw one girl worth hitting on, but I saw a lot of guys who Dont. Give. A. Fuck. A couple guys there I know, look like they could be hobos. Stepping out of an 80's skater vid, but run one of the best gems of hidden talent in the city. That why they don't give a fuck.

This other guy was maitre de at one of Vancouvers best restaurants. I used to go there a bunch when I had money and he remembers my name and tells me he is running the front of a restaurant famous for the celebs and hockey players. Top place and full of Vancouvers hottest talent milking the men who take them there for dates.

Its no wonder that guys like the one TheThing mentioned are resorting to banging dudes. His wife left him and took the kids. She throws him some pity poosy once in a while just to FUCK with his head. And its working. Trying to get girls in bars at 3am is useless, and trying to validate ones self to a conniving ex wife is the path to take when you want your kids to start hating you.

I think being called an idiot and yelled at by us last night might have been the best thing to happen to that guy in a long time.
