Hello all,
I've been with like five girls my entire life and I'm 25. I've only had two girls approach and give me their numbers my whole life. I never see them looking at me either. I'm more of a serious person I guess, so I cant get this cocky/funny stuff to really work. I've been told not to worry about the cocky funny but to just be myself! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The "just be yourself" advice is the absolute worst advice anyone could give on this topic. Almost always that sort of advice comes from women that are even more clueless than men. If being 'just yourself' was working then guys wouldn't be on these kind of boards looking for advice would they?

To get to the heart of the matter you have to be "better than yourself" which is a concept that eludes quite a few of us. It doesn't mean changing everything in our lives upside down, but identifying weak points and working on strengthening them.
