They've been hired to conduct a spam attack on the forum, not to sell some obscure phone services.

Therefore I'm sure their profit is absolutely fine and they are generously reimbursed for their time.

That would make sense if someone got pissed off for getting banned here and having contacts to Indian IT/spamming industry.

What I found curious was the resemblace with the flyers I've seen all my life about "Prof. Bambo", and several others african "professors" claiming to cure all human ailments, 'including adultery' and 'impotence'.

These were always seen has a joke, but Prof. Bambo and his ilk were serious scamers.

I found it funny because the threads were almost the same shit, but with the guy(s) claiming to be an 'indian guru' or other oriental shit. No african Mr. Bambo...

I'm guessing the thread texts must have been taken from flyers/adds that use the same exact text. And were or are in use somewhere (UK?/India?/Paki?).

And I was left wondering: who copied who? Did Bambo inspired the indians or did he got the idea from them? And who scams the most? Bambo required 'personal' interviews; from that, he proceded to extract money and other benefits (sodomizing women by explaining he must 'close' their holes from the evil-eye and shit like that); the indians seem content in getting some added value phone calls, more high-tech, less risky, but probably less profitable.

Never realized this was a global M.O. always thought the inventors were the "Mr. Bambos" from Guine-Bissau.

In RVF, even the troll threads can teach you (me) something!
