Uh... It happen to me once before when I met with a girl to tell her that it's over. So far about telling her it's over not by text and not by just ghosting. She got hysteric and physically didn't want to let go, clinging at me.

I could use my physical superiority to remove her grab but oh well, as long as she's not hurting me that seems very inappropriate.

It could only be resolved by a third party calming her down.

Another girl I met in a club due to cold approach, talked, kissed, went to another bar that she was suggesting. Since I didn't know the area, why not. As I didn't like the bar at all (too expensive, was wondering if she's getting a commission so I don't want that). Told her we're leaving. She went out with me. Then she started being mad at me and having an argument with me because of that. I was thinking, when it's crazy stupid like this on the very first meet, I rather follow advice and not stick my dick in crazy to avoid drama. Told her that I am going home. At that point she refused to accept that and followed me. I could only get away from her since I could run faster. Was an effective but not alpha way to resolve that.

Want to be prepared next time should something like that happen.

Could have superficially agreed with her, and in an attempt to reconcile ask her to get you both drinks so you can talk and work this out. Once she's back inside calmly walk to the next place.

Do the opposite! Stop being aloof and tell her that you're in love with her and wanted to get married. Remind her that you're a virgin though and you have to wait until marriage. If she continues to be clingy. Call her at 2am for the next 5 days and tell her your in love. If that doesn't work. You're screwed.
