RE: Food in the West has low nutritional value
Food in the West, is the simply the worst food you can eat.
I went to the Supermarket last month to buy fruits, all the oranges and grapes were seedless. I had to go to another supermarket to get grapes with seeds, they cost me a fortune.
All the food we eat, is GMO. Do research on GMO and you will understand why people look so unhealthy today. It is fake food, it lacks nutrients and will kill you a lot quicker. Stats about life expectancy are simply bullshit. I know many people dying because of bad food choices and leading a unhealthy life, they aren't even reaching 60.
I have dated a few EE women, my last serious girl from there was Hungarian.
She took me back to Budapest a few times.
The first time I went there we ate our first meal at noon. Nothing heavy, a lot less than what I would eat with my family.
Afterwards, we watched tv and I kept watching the clock. Her mother wasn't moving, I was wondering what we were going to eat for dinner.
I laid down for an hour and then they called me for dinner. On the table was a few pickles, radishes and some cold cuts. I was like WTF is this, I thought it but never said anything. The veggies were fresh and I was hungry as a bear.
That night I couldn't sleep, my stomach was making strange noises. I went to the bathroom and had the largest dump I had ever had, I stood their looking at it in amazement and started to get nervous. What if this couldn't flush down the toilet. This is Europe, they don't have the same toilets like in Canada.
EE women don't snack or eat like women in the west. I think it is part culture and availability of food. The competition among them is strong, they are well aware being overweight is like a death sentence.
In Canada, girls eat like pigs. After the club, I see many fast food places filled at 3.30 in the morning.
I had much fresher food in Mexico, Jamaica, Barbados and even Cuba.

That is absolutely true.
There are a ton of studies done on that - this article is based on the one from 1991, but it has gotten significantly worse since then:
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle....shopping3
Quote:In 50 years, poultry has gone from being a health food to a junk food - and some scientists claim other natural produce is going the same way. Last month, delegates at the conference Overfed and Undernourished (organised by BANT, the British Association of Nutritional Therapy) heard that, between 1940 and 1991, many fresh fruits and vegetables had lost large amounts of minerals and trace elements.
David Thomas - a geologist turned chiropractor (who also happens to sell mineral supplements) - analysed data from McCance and Widdowson's epic work, The Composition of Foods (a reference manual republished and updated by Government biochemists every few years). During that 51-year period, potatoes appeared to have lost 47 per cent of their copper, 45 per cent of their iron and 35 per cent of their calcium while carrots showed even bigger declines. Broccoli - a 'superfood' rich in micronutrients and cancer-busting antioxidants - suffered an 80 per cent drop in copper while calcium content was a quarter of what it had been in 1940, a pattern repeated in tomatoes. As Thomas pointed out: 'You would need to have eaten 10 tomatoes in 1991 to have obtained the same copper intake as from one tomato in 1940.'
The 3rd world if it has food available and is locally grown, then it is usually of higher quality (if they are not overdoing it on some pesticides because of lack of certain regulations).

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

RE: Food in the West has low nutritional value
This thread is basically a case against eating from supermarkets. And in that, I agree. Major chain supermarkets are garbage. Whole Foods is your only alternative, and for the record I am not advocating for shopping there, I understand why you wouldn't want to.
If you want quality produce and quality food you have to join a CSA, or community supported agriculture. These exist for vegetables, fruit, meat, and dairy. There are many websites where you can figure out how to join one.
Starting in the 60s, the U.S. entered a renaissance of eating real food that we are still enjoying today. The U.S. now has some of the best restaurants and food products in the world, and if that hasn't been your experience then that's on you. If you shop at Kroger/Safeway/Albertsons you don't have a lot of room to complain here...the discussion on GMOs has been going on for a while and there are many alternatives out there, you just have to put in some work.
Farmer's markets are great but tend to be expensive. CSAs generally offer the same quality but at a better price.
Generally speaking, good food is cheaper in many countries across the globe than in the U.S., but to make blanket statements like "Food in the West has low nutritional value" or "the land in California has been sucked dry of nutrients" is just hearsay. Even here in Vegas there's a local farm where I can pick my own produce. It's cheap and fresh as can be. The juices and fermented foods I've made from that produce makes me feel like a million bucks. Most of the time I go to that farm, it's asian and latino families picking produce.
Do your homework.

Yes driving in California and Utah etc. I saw tons of produce carts/joints next to the roads. In France you see fruit and vegetable joints along the road as well, in the supermarkets in NL sometimes the vegetables could be good and the choice is big.
