Go above a certain threshold and they will confiscate your car...whatever it is...they don't fuck about.

Guys travelling down to LeMans from the UK have been known to take serious measures like changing the ownership of their cars out of their name as that's the only way to prevent the confiscation. Many speculate that it's actually our fault as we used to use the route down to the South of France as a race track every summer.

To be fair my 3spd auto golf handled going from full throttle reverse to full throttle first quite well. I couldn't smash it and I did try.

I personally would trust rather an electric car made by BMW, Porsche or even Citroen. A buddy of mine bought one and it's fun to drive around, but the quality for example of the interior is not what it should be at that price range.
